We hired Cater Marin on a whim for our small-ish (under 50 people) backyard wedding reception after walking by their storefront one day. And it was the best decision we could've made! Terry and her team are obviously an experienced crew, and very easy and friendly to work with. Terry made a lot of great suggestions during her site visit, and was super flexible with the menu planning.

We did not even have a fully-functioning kitchen for them to cook in, but they made it work--and we got so many compliments on the food! People raved about it for days afterwards. I'm still craving the farro salad and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I truly cannot say enough about Terry & her team. My husband and I used them for our wedding catering. First of all, she's an absolute joy to work with. If you know exactly what you want, she makes it happen. If you have no idea what you're doing (which was me, ) she is there to make suggestions & offer extremely efficient guidance. Her chef's food is fantastic & very well priced.

They have endless menus and will make anything your heart desires! Her team is incredibly efficient, kind, and genuine. They truly went above and beyond to make our wedding a seamless event & to make our vision come to life! CaterMarin is more than a catering company - they're a whole production squad! Cater Marin delivered an amazing meal and experience for our October 2021 wedding. We connected with Terry in early 2020 and as you can imagine kept the conversation going (thanks COVID) until we were able to actually have our wedding in 2021. Throughout the process Terry's expertise in this industry was far above caters we spoke to. We knew her team would be able to navigate the nuances of our wedding venue and delivered above and beyond our expectations.

Chef Nick was equally great to work with helping us to craft the perfect menu that was delicious. Our guests shared that this was the best food they had ever had at a wedding and many appreciated the family style service. What we love is that we were able to select a menu that accommodated dietary restrictions without compromising on the taste. The staff ensured all our guests were taken care of while helping us keep to our timeline as much as possible.

In addition, Terry's referrals were equally valuable as they were all pro's and were able to provide great expertise and service. I would absolutely work with Cater Marin in the future and would highly recommend to anyone considering.

We loved working with Terry/Cater Marin for our wedding. She was so flexible, honest, and helpful with planning a covid wedding when restrictions were constantly changing. She really made our venue and timeline perfect. We were not organized at all and she came in, had great suggestions and just really did a great job with organizing the event and taking the stress away from us.

This is all before the food! The food was of course great too and reasonably priced. Her staff was also excellent during the actual wedding. All of our guests complimented the staff, flow of the party, food, and transitions. You can't go wrong if you choose Terry for whatever event you have going on!

Have no hesitation about leaving a five star review for Terry and her team. They catered a backyard birthday party for 25 and people could not be more delighted with the food from Cater Marin. I'm not someone who has catered many events, and working with Terry was a breeze in terms of menu development (appetizers, main courses and sides). Team showed up on time with beautifully plattered food. Communication through the whole process was very smooth and timely. I have nothing but good things to say about Terry. We booked CaterMarin for our October 2020 wedding and unfortunely, needed to postpone and now cancel due to COVID. Throughout the entire process, Terry was flexible, understanding, positive, and kind. Caterers, bakers, restaurants have gotten creative in this time of Covid. Delicious & healthy meals are available for pickup or delivery Tuesday thru Friday.

We recently ordered 2 salmon meals, along with 2 side dishes, for home delivery. The food was very yummy and there was enough for us to eat for 2+ nights. Very reasonably priced too. We have used CaterMarin in the past and are happy to be able to support them during these crazy times. We plan on ordering our Christmas meal from them as well.

We had my daughters bat mitzvah at the Mill Valley outdoor Art club last weekend. Well I always love the event site, so much of what makes or breaks in event is the catering. From the moment I worked with Terry, she was smart, easy, and completely accommodating in every way. She knows her business, and her staff at our event was respectful, professional, and incredibly nice and helpful. The food was outstanding! I would highly recommend Terry and her people for any special event.

I recently had a work anniversary party for 70 people at an outdoor garden and Cater Marin provided the food and help for the party. Everyone enjoyed the food and commented for days afterwards how wonderful it was. Terry was absolutely wonderful to work with and she provided help that was indispensable. I would highly recommend her and will definitely use her again.

Terry and CaterMarin did a fantastic job with our wedding at the Marin Art and Garden Center! Our venue had a set list of caterers we were required to choose from, and while we shopped around at all of the caterer options presented to us, CaterMarin offered us the best combination of competitive pricing, timely communication (we have come to appreciate this HIGHLY in retrospect), and impressive attention to detail and timing specifically catered to our venue.

While some caterers had a more noteworthy "wow" factor when we were doing tastings, we left the tasting at CaterMarin not only having been impressed by the food, but also with the attention they were giving to our event. We could tell that they cared about making our event enjoyable and stress free. They delivered that on the wedding day. They had glasses of champagne and some appetizers waiting for us after the ceremony. Terry was the one to serve us our dinner plates herself, and she was great about checking in with us to make sure that everything was running smoothly.

So nice to know in case something doesn't seem quite right! With regards to presentation, we were at a sweetheart table where we were served plates with both entrees--tritip with chimichurri and grilled salmon, both delicious--so we didn't get to see how the dinner buffet was presented to guests, but now that we have gotten all our photos back, we are even more pleased to see the presentation! CaterMarin initially advised us against using kegs, recommending bottles instead.

We insisted on using kegs, and though CaterMarin was not particularly supportive of this, it did not ultimately cause any problems on the day of the wedding. In fact, many of our guests were impressed with how smoothly the bar service ran. Many of our guests have commented on how great the food was at our wedding, including some family members in the restaurant/fine-dining industry (which we took as a very high compliment!). The food was delicious and Terry was wonderful to work with. An easy recommendation!

CaterMarin blew my family and me away. Incredibly professional, on top of it and the food was outstanding. My mother's funeral went without a hitch which is what we needed during this difficult time. Terry and her staff were also professional setting up and breaking down. Not one issue. I will use CaterMarin for all my future catering needs

We had our wedding at Outdoor Art Club, and after several food tastings from their approved catering list, we decided to go with CaterMarin. Their food is great, we hit it off with Terry right away, and the thing that really sealed the deal for us was that we ended up not needing to spend money on a wedding coordinator, since Terry goes above and beyond to help with planning and keeping things on track the day of.

During our onsite visit to the venue a month or so before the wedding, she helped us nail down our timeline, layout, and rentals, which was super helpful. My wedding party and guests kept complimenting us on how great the food and service were. Would highly recommend CaterMarin!

Cater Marin catered my wedding at deer park villa in September 2018 and did an amazing job. From the moment we met Terry at our tasting her and her chef paid excellent attention to detail and were a pleasure to work with. We were very impressed with the food at the tasting and knew right away we had found our caterer. Terry was very responsive in the weeks leading up to the wedding and helped with many of the details.

At the wedding everything went smoothly with the catering. The staff was all courteous and professional. The food was amazing. Everyone had good things to say about the salmon, the chicken, and the vegetarian lasagna was very popular also. Terry was also very hands on at the event and involved with the catering team, including serving our guests. My bride and I had time to eat our food, and also the wait staff kept our drink glasses full for us. Cater Marin packaged up some meals for us to take home from the wedding which was a very nice touch. Would highly recommend caterMarin!

We looked up Cater Marin since it was on the preferred vendors list for our venue, Deer Park Villa. Terry was awesome from the moment we spoke to her to even after the event. She was always very responsive and helpful with any request. even when my fiance and I completely changed our menu about 2 months before the wedding! I would highly recommend Cater Marin to any of our friends because the food tasted awesome and was all excellent quality. Terry was willing to go out of her normal box for us with the menu and it turned out amazing!

She helped us along the way with general wedding questions and always seemed to be able to understand exactly what we were trying to accomplish. Thanks for making our wedding a huge success Terry!

A big thanks to Terry, Chef Nick and the team! They catered our wedding 2 weeks ago for our 3 course dinner. We got a lot compliments from our guests, especially for the salmon - went to Opa! in Palo Alto a few days after wedding and everyone agrees Terry's salmon is way better. Wanted to add that Terry is way beyond a caterer. We didn't have a planner so an experienced caterer is really important.

One week before wedding, we asked her to have ceremony and dinner at the same venue. She basically used only one hour to change the venue set up. She is on top of everything and is easy to work with, perfect for people who have limited time. Will definitely highly recommend CaterMarin for your events!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. My wife and I cannot endorse Terry and CaterMarin enough. To begin, Terry was the first out of several potential caterers to respond to our inquiry for our wedding - and she was the only one to respond regularly after that! That immediately boded well for us, and we happily attended the arranged tasting. We were blown away by the quality of the food and the warm reception we received.

It was clear that Terry had put a lot of heart and love into her work, and that showed. As we tried delicious chicken, asparagus, and potato souffles, we knew that CaterMarin was perfect for our special day. We were even more impressed by Terry's constant contact with us as we lobbed question after question at her regarding costs, the menu, technicalities, and set-up.

If not for Terry, we may have forgotten a lot of essentials for the reception! CaterMarin didn't just provide the food during our reception at the Marin Art and Garden Center: They also provided amazing service, table set-up, a personal touch and interaction with the guests, and yes, I admit, a much needed talking to when I personally started freaking out about potential rain. Terry knows how to handle a stressed out bridegroom! CaterMarin is everything you need for a caterer.
