Stancato's Banquet Catering

We had a celebration of life luncheon for my uncle at Stancato's today for a party of 30. Our servers Emily and Kaitlyn were just fantastic. The private room was set up beautifully and very clean and comfortable. The food was exceptional as was the service from the girls. I would highly recommend Stancato's for any of your gatherings.

Casual dress belies top notch Italian fare. Unique salads. Wife had the Italian Pork Chop, and did her happy dance it was so good. I went traditional with the Lasagna, which was the best I've had in a long time. Nice, hard working staff, great food!

Very disappointed. My husband and I stopped by early afternoon. We noticed two people rearranging chairs/tables on the patio. I approached the area and before I could speak I was rudely told, We don't open until 4! I said I just have a question. My Mom just passed away and my family and I would like to have a luncheon in her honor on Monday. Well you need to drive to the front and they will page someone for you.

Never as a kind courtesy did she say " so sorry for your loss". Incredibly rude We drove to the front and stood there for at least 10 minutes could not get any one's attention. My husband walked around to the side of the restaurant and the guy that was outside came in rudely and said "they need help!" Finally talked to one person who was kind and she paged the banquet person who was supposed to come out in a few minutes.

We waited 20. We left and found a much better high class restaurant that was extremely kind and very understanding and genuinely sympathetic We will not be going back to this restaurant ever again. Customers come first! Stop what you are doing and help. Especially under such difficult circumstances. If I could give zero stars I would.

The quality was 4 and 5 for a single dish but some portions left me infuriated. A sweet pea salad with roughly a teaspoon of peas. A 2 1/2"x4" piece of lasagna for $22.99. I know prices for ingredients have gone up, but just ridiculous.

All their good is excellent! Many choices for all Meals. Party rooms, they truly want to make your experience the best it can be.

I order pizza and antipasta. The pasta was good. The pizza sauce was very bland. Not bad. Just no taste to it. I eaten here before and it was good through catering years ago. I would come back and try something else.

Rude, rude, rude. Just not nice. Had a communion party. Even before the party the people we felt with were just no nice. I'm talking about the management people not the workers. Last time for me.

My sister and brother-in-law came for a visit and we decided to have dinner at Stancato's. We had a delicious dinner served by Leslie. She was an experienced server and we didn't need to ask for anything. My brother-in-law had the pork chop. He said it was the most delicious chop he had ever had. My partner had the chicken saltimboca, and my sister and I had the pasta Bolognese with a meatball. ( I would suggest the pasta be cooked a bit more as it was more than al-dente.) My family was impressed and we had a wonderful dinner. We will be back!

A great place with great food, which made it disappointing to arrive there almost an hour before the posted closing hour to find out they were closed. I do wish sites were updated a bit better.

New to Parma, heard this place was good. Must've gone downhill after pandemic. Olive Garden quality food (barely) at authentic Italian prices. I ordered pickup, part of my order wasn't included. When I called the restaurant, manager and owner refused to refund my $ for the food I paid for and didn't receive. They said it's not their policy to offer refunds of any type. They also mentioned how short staffed they are. I wouldn't waste my time or $ here again.

Great Italian food. The bread and salad with your meal are both awesome. You can pick what type of side salad you want (Mediterranean, antipasto, etc) which is unique and great quality. Very generous portions and friendly staff

Wonderful last minute private event hosted by Stancato's. Working with the event staff was easy, thoughtful, and efficient. The onsite staff for our private room was awesome and accommodating to the guests needs. And, most importantly, the FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! Thank you Stancato's for helping us turn a potentially stressful event into a lovely gathering. We will definitely be back (in fact, we went back last night for dinner)!

Whats happening here? After years of coming here.sadly no more. Four of us out for a celebration. Not one of us was happy with what we order.and we all ordered something different. Not sure why everything tasted so salty, but it did. We didn't even bother to order dessert to celebrate a birthday. Why spend more $$ on bad food. In fact, we weren't even asked if we wanted dessert.

We all left a good portion of our food on the plate. Wait staff didn't ask if we want to take it home. Maybe they already knew the food was bad. It was fairly crowded, staff do not wear mask or take any covid precautions (if that is a consideration in your decision for dining out). I can see by reviews that the owners do not address any concerns or comments. So this all is a mute point.

Disappointing. The bread was excellent, the salad was okay, the chocolate cake was okay, the noodles were good, but the Alfredo sauce was awful. I have had Alfredo sauces at other restaurants that are bland, but this was worse than that. It actually tasted bad. I spent most of the meal just trying to decipher what that taste was. The flavor was a very strong cheese taste, like all they used was Romano cheese or something.

There was zero garlic flavor, which should be a main ingredient for an Alfredo sauce. On top of that, the sauce was thin, and kind of watery. Extremely disappointing. I won't be ordering from here again.

I called to place a curbside pickup. Despite your Google listing, I was told you aren't offering that service. What are you doing for families who are quarantined? Are you forcing them to use your delivery service?

How we forgot about this excellent restaurant eludes me: great food great service and a comfortable environment. If you appreciate classic Italian, you will be pleased with your evening out. Call ahead for reservations recommended.

Good Italian food very nice people and when they say your orders gonna be ready it's ready really good chicken Parm Only get some nice bread and a good salad to go with it

We made a reservation two weeks ago for a party of four at 7:30 for their clambake. We arrived at 7:20 and they told us it would just be a few minutes till we got her a table. The hostess then repeatedly explained under her breath that they conceded a bunch of people without reservations and they weren't leaving. We asked again at 7:30 and they said it would be a few minutes we asked again at 7:45 and they said it would be a few minutes.

I asked at 7:54 when a realistic time was for our table because we had brought my 102.5-year-old mother my Uber from Shaker Heights for the clambake and she was very tired and it was getting quite late for her. Perry, the manager apparent told me if I didn't like waiting I could just leave. I said, are you serious, I just wanna realistic expectation as to when we will actually get a table we've been here for a half an hour at which point he repeated "get out".

We did. We went to Valenti's in Broadview Heights and had an absolutely fantastic meal. The service was impeccable the food was delicious and man am I get glad we got out of there. This place is gone so far downhill it's at the bottom of the heap and I wouldn't go back there if you paid me. But they should fired this person Perry because he is a rude and obnoxious human being and has no business in management in a hospitality industry.

He must've really done a lousy job because I've never written a review like this in my entire life in fact I've never written a review on yelp at all but I think everyone should know and they should boycott this restaurant. You should buy the Stancato's sauce in the grocery store if you like it because it no longer taste like that in the restaurant. And go to Valenti's! It's fabulous

Great place with good flavor to the food. We ordered a variety of food items and all were very tasty, good portion sizes and fair price. The place was very clean and staff were fast and friendly. I do recommend this place to everyone and will be back myself.

Wedding August 7, 2021. Food was amazing. My guest loved the food. Stancatos delivered on time to our venue. Staff was nice and professional through out the entire process. I would definitely recommend and use for more events!

Haven't eaten in the restaurant in quite some time. They have awesome carryout and awesome catering for parties so we already knew the food would be great. Had the veal calabrese, eggplant rollatini, a Parmesan crusted steak, and a salad. The food was excellent. Everything tasted great and our waitress was on point. This place has been around a long time and the excellent food and service is the reason why.

One of the best Italian restaurants around. Pizza was incredible, all the food is fresh, and the service is great. Table bread is delicious and unique. Will definitely come again!

Stancato's never disappoints. Love this place for casual, authentic, Italian dining! We always get the arancini. The sauces it comes with are a perfect zingy balance to these warm and crisp rice balls of joy! I got the Cavatelli Genovese and it was incredible. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the sauce was creamy and delicious. ALSO you get complimentary bread rolls and marinara, so good!

Food was amazing. Had the chicken parmigiana with a side of pasta. The bread was great, served right out of the oven with a side of sauce. Had the Italian wedding soup, which was also amazing. Would for sure go back.

We hosted my dad for dinner, and chose Stancato's carry out. The food was hot and ready on time, and everything was delicious! I only wished I'd added dessert to our order.

I absolutely love the food here. It's always spot on, the service is quick, and staff always polite. My only issue is the charge for silverware. My wife and I was picked up dinner to take to the park. When I asked for Two sets of flatware, I was told that it's an extra charge of $1.50 I know its not a lot, but it's just the principle, not cool.

We visited Stancato's because we received a gift card for this restaurant Christmas of last year. Since it's not close to us we kept forgetting about it. The first impression was warm and inviting. It had this charm and ambiance. I loved watching families celebrating birthdays, couples, business meetings and so forth going on all at one time.

It indeed seems to be a gathering place and you can see they have a following. I'm happy that the rest seems to be thriving. The food was ok. I had a salad and my husband had pasta with pesto and calamari. November 26, 2019 Visited for a second time for lunch. It was a better experience. Husband had pasta and I had pepperoni pizza. The service, hostess and server were all really good.

Stancato's is a Cleveland institution. I've long purchased their sauces in local grocers. They make a jarred piccata sauce and a marsala sauce that are both to-die for. Seriously, just throw the piccata sauce over angel hair with capers and lemon and it tastes delicious. It makes you feel gourmet and is just as good as a restaurant! My family came here on Easter when they served their Italian buffet. I'm old enough to know that going anywhere on a holiday is probably not the best interpretation of a restaurant.

It was very shoulder-to-shoulder crowded and hard to pick up the vibes of the restaurant. The food was delicious, especially the stuffed shells and marsala, but the environment definitely was not for me (when that crowded). Yet, the young guys working the buffet kept it well-stocked and really busted their butts. Excellent service. Stancato's has a big parking lot, but if you come here during a busy night, be ready to cruise slowly looking for someone leaving to stalk for a parking spot. They are the type of homemade, delicious Italian restaurant that people will happily make the wait for. I love their sauces, but need to try the restaurant situation again!
