Food sucked and service sucked. Ordered chicken salad and whoever made it got lazy cutting up the chicken. It might as well have been chicken breast with mayo. A few extra minutes spent cutting up the chicken more would've helped a lot. Besides that, the waitress disappeared on us for a long time. No drink refills or check-ins. Next table had to flag down a worker because they had waited so long to order and we had to flag someone because we couldn't get the check. Was hoping to find a spot for a good chicken salad and my search continues. Def a swing and a miss here.

My wife and I had lunch at the Park Potomac location yesterday. We were hungering for a hot pastrami sandwich comparable to the ones we had in New York (we're New York natives and have lived in Maryland the past 30+years). We were disappointed with the sandwiches. The hot pastrami was cold, and very salty. Our basis of comparison was the last pastrami sandwich we hat at Katz's in Manhattan in April 2022 which was hot and much better. While the sandwiches were flavorful, the pickles and the home made chips stole the show.

My wife enjoyed her lean pastrami sandwich. I had turkey on seedless rye. The bread was stale. I was told the plain rye is the only bread they don't make in-house so it's not as fresh. So why serve it? I asked for Russian dressing. I think the owners need to learn how to make Russian dressing. It was horrible; I couldn't eat it. I won't be back. Much prefer the nearby Brooklyn Deli.

Bustling deli with a mix of high end pricy items and down to earth deli. Reuben's were massive and easily two lunch-size but priced accordingly. The balance of meat to sauce and other fixings was out of whack but there's nothing to say you can't remove some of the meat for other purposes. The side potato chips were excellent. Looking at other sandwiches and sides.

Attman's was my first corned beef sandwich. decades ago. when I worked at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore. I've had many Reubens in many places and states since then but I have never, NEVER, had another Reuben to come close to that blissful creation served by Attman's. What a feat to serve something so delish, so well that it remains unsurpassed. Exceptional!

Great sandwiches! The Pickle image on the menu means you can get all the pickles you want in their self serve pickle bar. They've got a great assortment of pickled things like cucumbers, tomatoes, and sauerkraut. I ordered their chicken salad sandwich and it had huge chunks of chicken with celery. Their homemade chips are delicious too! Generous portions so the price is worth it. The omelet was very filling and the veggies tasted fresh. I would definitely come again because its big portions so it can last me for two meals!

I dined in the other day and honestly I was very disappointed. The cost did not equal the quality in my opinion. I got the cheesesteak, very bland and tomatoes were borderline ready to be thrown out. Fries were extreme deep fried and ordered to be Chesapeake but didn't happen. The Italian sub was served dry. The chicken soup was good. If the subs are not going to come dressed, it should be more up front especially at the charged costs. Perhaps I should stick to the corned beef which was good when it was located at their old location. The pickles to go were delicious.

Please lower your prices or stop making awesome sandwiches! My husband literally loves everything from Attman's and I'm pretty convinced that he will eat Attman's everyday if he can. I cringe every time I see how much we pay for a sandwich and fries from this place but it definitely makes hubby happy so I guess I have to just blame them for making really good sandwiches. Five stars for Attman's straight out of my wallet! Ouch!

Sorry, but sorely disappointed in the selections/meal. I had pulled up website prior to coming to restaurant (seeking the patty melt). But was told that they (Park Potomac) did not offer. What's the big deal by placing a hamburger with Swiss cheese and grilled onion (NOT square/cut onions) and mayo on two pieces of RYE bread/grilled! So I ordered the Monti Cristo. Disaster!
The "French toast" was cold - NO powder sugar on the sandwich! The cheese did not melt! The Turkey tasted awful - very dry and "old/tainted" taste! The steak fries tasted "strange" - some type of thick "sweet" coating deep fried - weird? I also asked for a root beer float; but they said "No!" Unbelievable! If they can make various milkshakes - surely you can offer a glass of Dr. Brown's root beer and ADD a scoop of vanilla ice cream! Last; but not least - I ordered one Eclair and took it home.
Later this evening I cut it in half - was pleased with the filling, BUT the patisserie/doughnut was old/rubbery and tasteless! OMG! This eclair must have been on the shelf for several days! Overall, none of the food was fresh at all - except for the garden salad! Shame on Attman's - not like it use to be. P.S. - I am a former employee of Marriott Corp. - so I know how foods should taste/freshness/preparation, etc.

Our best friend's family was loyal to Attman's in Baltimore and I got to try sandwiches after he and my fiance picked me up from BWI during the summer of 2020. Later in December we tried the Potomac location and loved the food as much as well as the outdoor seating with heaters. We came back yesterday for dinner and ate inside. My fiance and I shared a Lexington Market Monster and surprisingly with our friends help we finished it.
We also tried their Potato Latkes for hannukkah and it was perhaps the best latkes we ever had. The location is very nice and staff is all friendly. They have a little market that sells wine and beer. We tried the Silent Neighbor Stout from Atlas as well as the Blackberry Seltzer and Sundown Passionfruit Sour from Lone Oak (a local brewery in Olney we haven't tried).
The Silent Neighbor was good but the Loan Oak Sundown and Blackberry Seltzer was so good we took some home as well as the Raspberry Seltzer. We look forward to returning hopefully many more times.

Visiting my sister for Thanksgiving we were looking for a breakfast on Black Friday and when she mentioned Attman's Deli I was so happy! I use to frequent the Attman's Deli in Baltimore City when I lived there. Was torn between eggs and lox and real corned beef hash. Since I don't have the fresh cooked Jewish corned beef and pastrami near me ( Hymie's is great but not hot out of the pot) I got the River Oaks Reuben- combo of pastrami and corned beef ( I opted out of Russian dressing) with kraut.
There are 3 sizes based on the amount of meat. I got the Gazunt - about 2 in of meat. I was in deli heaven! I would compare to Katz in NYC. Don't forget the pickle bar- so fresh! Service was fast and the waitress was so friendly. If I move back to my old stomping grounds I'd be ordering there at least once a week. I also had the Matzo ball soup- delicious! There is ample seating and a take out bakery, deli meat and prepared soups and food. I'll be back again!

One of my go-to places! Classic Jewish deli with quality food that makes you feel good. Specifically, the vegetarian rueben is fantastic - they add a lot of grilled vegetables and it has fantastic flavor without feeling too unhealthy. I would note I had one really bad experience with a very soggy sandwich (although it was on Yom Kippur so they were probably very busy with catering orders).
The pictures are from that day (sandwich was devoured the other times before photos were taken!) However, I've been three other times and have had a great sandwich. The challah French toast is also very good, and so are the harbor fries. I would skip the potato salad.

I'm a big fan of any Jewish deli, and this is no exception. This place checks all the boxes for me. I love a good pickle bar, they have many types of free delicious pickles. There's a fresh deli counter and bakery section, plus tons of food retail. Any Jewish person is familiar with matzoh ball soup and this one is very delicious. It is served with chicken and I LOVED that.
It was so delicious and hit the spot. Their sandwiches were hardy and a good portion. The only thing I wasn't keen on were their potato chips. They weren't very crunchy, kind of soft from the oil. I would prefer to buy a bag of chips at the counter and eat them with my sandwich. The prices were fair for the food items on the menu. I would definitely come here again, it's a very traditional space. Don't expect much in terms of decor or dining room tableware. It's truly a neighborhood deli and it's decorated as such. It is located in a retail shopping area with parking deck the back and in a parking deck down the street. It's a great place for all ages.

Atman's is great. Sandwiches are incredible. They add plenty of meat. It is exactly what you want out of a deli sandwich. Also if you need to stop by in the morning to grab coffee and a bagel, they do a great job. The restaurant is super comfortable. Outdoor and indoor seating. The servers are very friendly.

Slow Thursday afternoon and I decided to head over to Attman's for the best Jewish Deli outside of New York and Baltimore. I go back and forth between the awesome Corned Beef sandwich on rye with mustard and the Delicious Pastrami on pumpernickel with mustard; love both but Pastrami is the BEST. There is indoor and outdoor seating; but I usually eat in my car co i can close my eyes, smack my lips, savor every bite and loudly grunt.mmm.mmm.mmm. Matzo Ball Soup, Smith Island Cake, cheese cake and other deserts are available and don't sleep on the kosher and half sour pickles. Deli items are for sale along with products from ivy City Smokehouse. Attman's is a great place for comfort food, look forward to trying the breakfast and items such as chicken in a pot for dinner.

We have been here several times now. They have both indoor and outdoor seating with heaters. All safety measures are followed. We just loved the breakfast options- Vegetable omelet- nice and fluffy Fresh toast- cook to perfection Potato latkes- full of flavors Make sure to ask for the complimentary pickles. We have also gotten variety of baked goods and sandwiches to go. They were all delicious and would get again.
