I walked in tonight with the restaurant empty. Was told they are sold out. Was informed to go upstairs. I'm a single seating. No one upstairs for ten mins. I went back downstairs and still empty. When I spoke to the waiter from upstairs he had indicated that there were a lot of no shows and had plenty of space for me. I finally left in the rain to find another place. I used yelp as a review for this restaurant. I'm not a local and was visiting for a day.

My fiance and I came here last night and had a great meal. Unfortunately I did not feel good walking through the door so I took my meal to go. I ran out a few hours later to get utensils from seven eleven and my meal was outstanding! We decided to come back tonight and cannot speak more highly of this place. The meal from start to finish was amazing.
I don't work in a restaurant but my fiance runs one and he was glowing the entire time. Service, food, drinks, all spot on. We will be back! If you like Port, try the 30 year. My fiance can't stop talking about it!

We've been meaning to try Harry Browne's for some time, but things just kept preventing us. I'm so glad we finally came. The food was excellent, the service was supreme, and everyone made us feel comfortable and well-looked-after, but not overly-so. The shrimp and scallops were divine, as was the saltimbocca. Good wine list with a bit for every pallet and price point. All around winner. Thank you!

We were in town at a nearby hotel and wanted pizza. This was the closest choice. But man what a great choice! The pizza is EXCELLENT. Highly recommend. We had the one with chorizo and pulled pork and another that was plain cheese. Both were awesome. The dough is amazing and the pizzas were cooked perfectly. An Annapolis hidden find!

We took my wife's brother and sister-in-law to Harry Browne's last evening for a great dinner. The soft shell crabs were perfect as well as the shrimp and scallops. My prime rib had some sauce on it that masked the taste of the beef. Our great server, Bailey, replaced the prime rib for soft shell crabs. As usual, Harry Brownes is one of the best restaurants in Annapolis.
We have been eating at HB's for 20 years plus. We moved from Annapolis to Atlanta, 2009, and on our many trips back, try to have dinner at Harry Browne's. I highly recommend this Annapolis Icon.

WOW, we had an amazing dinner at 5pm, getting the best table, watching the sun set over the capital building. The owner Rusty was great to talk with as was our server. Our calamari was the best ever and my veal and my wife Jackie Gras fed fillet was amazing. Our wine was well priced as was the entire meal and the desert of bread pudding and our coffee drinks made the night! Thanks Rusty for an amazing retreat and memory!

Food was excellent, but service left a lot to be desired, unfortunately. Like other reviews cautioning about poor service, I must underscore, we did not feel welcome, nor properly tended to in any manner whatsoever. It ruined our night. I'm sorry I dined there. There are so many other options I could've have chosen for a great evening out. Hospitality is not their strong suit. All the ambience and prestige in the world cannot make up for that very sad fact.

I enjoyed a delicious lunch here on what may have been the most perfect warm, sunny afternoon. Sitting outside, at the foot of the State House, watching the passers by, and chatting with patrons at the next table was a lovely outing from a year of pandemic isolation. A newcomer to Maryland, this was my first visit to Annapolis and it was great to see the State House, the Governor's Mansion, and the charming and unique buildings on the streets surrounding the restaurant. I look forward to beginning, or ending, my next visit to Annapolis with another meal at this memorable restaurant.

I'm giving this five stars because I came here twice in the same week. I was at the upstairs bar one night and the apps we ordered were really really good and the drinks were made well too. Service was really good. I went back later in the week for dinner and dined downstairs. I got one of the speciality burgers and it was really good. Temperature was right and the food was fresh. The service again was also really good. I'm hoping they bring back a happy hour soon once Covid restrictions are lifted.

We were hoping to really like this spot. We've passed it a lot and finally stopped. The cool thing was a mimosa comes with your brunch. The food was ok. The service and the crab toast was great. Everything else needs a bit. more. Got a Bloody Mary and it was kinda gross. Price: reasonable Parking: street Service: great

Pros; Great ambiance Great staff Great menu choices Excellent food Cons; Parking can be an issue My wife and I came to Harry Brownes to attend a wedding and this is our first time here. Walking in Harry Brownes you get a warm cozy feel. The place was very clean and we found the entire staff to include our server "Bailey" to be exceptional and attentive to our needs.
We started out with appetizers of a meat, cheese & olive tray, Calamari and Crab/Cheese Dip served with warm bread that all were so, so good but I have to pick out specifically The Calamari which was cooked perfectly and tender as I find most Calamari served at other places to be very tough. For my main course I had The Petite Fillet served medium rare which was cooked perfect.
The main also came with a side of mashed potatoes and leaf spinach w/ butter & garlic which all were very good. Bottom line; Harry Brownes is a very quaint cozy place to go right in town with great service and great food, a must go.

My husband and I had a lovely lunch at Harry Browne's today. I had made an online reservation through Resy, noting that it was a special occasion. When I arrived, I was shown to a dark table in the rear. I asked if there were any tables up front near the window, and initially they said no (they were tables for four and reserved), but then the host came back and offered us a cozy little table for two up front by the mirror where we still had a nice view.
We ordered mussels to share for an appetizer. They were yummy and came with sliced baguette and a garlicky butter sauce. I ordered the Cobb salad and my husband had the State House club sandwich. The sandwich had turkey, bacon, and cranberry brie on croissant. The portion sizes were quite large. The bill was reasonable for the amount of food. It is a great place to watch the world go by, as legislators and visitors bustle around State House Circle.

Wonderful restaurant right in the heart of Annapolis State Capital area. I don't have to tell anyone how quaint and lovely the area is, so I'll get right to the restaurant. STELLAR Service! There were so many of us that day and the servers were fast, knowledgeable and made great recommendations! Sophisticated and intimate ambiance, with an upstairs that had a law library feel, that was perfect for entertaining Warm and comfortable.
Truly one of the older buildings and probably an original in this historic district that has now been updated while retaining the old charm. My steamed mussels appetizer was delectable and juicy and perfectly steamed in a nicely seasoned jus, that wasn't too salty. I had a Beets medley and and butter lettuce salad and both were made with fresh ingredients and all the goat cheese to my heart's content! Did I mention that wine was $5 a glass? Great Great Great!

Great little place to have Sunday brunch and people watch. Food is very good. Pictures below is the Navy breakfast and the Annapolian (they were both very delish!) This is a local favorite for us when we are in Annapolis and want a quaint little place with good food and not the typical crowd. Outdoor seating is nice to people watch. Reservations are highly recommended for dinner or for a nice seat by the window. Enjoy.
