Heidi's Catering was the perfect choice for our wedding! The food was delicious (our guests continue to rave at how good the food was) and they were so great to work with. As we were getting started with our meal choices, they did a good job listening to what we wanted. During the tasting, we got to try a variety of foods, all amazing. My husband loved the food so much he had a hard time choosing what he liked best!

The event staff was on top of all catering needs and everyone was very pleasant to interact with. They did a great job helping set up and get everyone their correct meals. Thank you for keeping us all fed with such wonderful food delivered by an excellent staff. A+ for Heidi's Catering.

We had an AMAZING experience with Heidi's! I'm vegan, my husband is basically vegetarian, and we had multiple guests with similar dietary needs, AND we planned our wedding from out of state - the team at Heidi's (especially Jillian!) was always so accommodating and professional in terms of setting up phone calls when we couldn't meet in person and making sure that there was plenty of items in our buffet menu that vegans and vegetarians could eat, while also providing great dishes for our meat-eaters too!

I love how flexible and customizable the entire menu creation process was, and we couldn't have been happier with the food! Our guests kept complimenting the food throughout the night, and the service was phenomenal! My husband and I didn't even need to go through the buffet line to get our food - when it was time for dinner, we had our plates in front of us with exactly what we wanted.

And during cocktail hour when we were busy taking photos, I offhandedly mentioned to someone that I wish I could get my hands on another tomato bruschetta, and before I knew it one of the team members was waiting behind our photographer with an entire plate of bruschetta. Very sweet and attentive, and they made sure my husband and I actually ate on our wedding day!

The team also packed up leftovers for us to enjoy back at our hotel after the wedding, which was SO appreciated. After dancing all night, it was great to enjoy leftovers in bed. Heidi's team went above and beyond and I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

We used Heidi's for our recent wedding and was extremely happy with everything. I have celiacs disease so they made sure our meals were gluten free and anything that wasn't was indicated clearly. I was extremely happy with everything Heidi's did to make our special day perfect. No one left hungry that is for sure! We appreciate all the extra care that was taken with us and the strong communication. We felt so cared for and heard clearly with our wants and needs throughout this whole planning process. Highly recommend.

What an amazing caterer and experience! From start to finish, everything was great. We worked with Jillian for our wedding and had a "unique" menu including a pizza station, pasta station & salad. Food was yummy and staff was excellent. They took care of business : THANK YOU Jillian & entire Heidi's team!

Heidi's was wonderful from start to finish. Heidi herself is incredibly communicative and helpful. Her staff is top notch- I give her and everyone working the night of our wedding complete credit for how smoothly it all went! I would love to acknowledge Brett who was working the night of our wedding, and the chef Jessie. Brett kept everything running so smoothly, his professionalism and kindness was a positive beacon for the evening.

It felt as if he truly cared about our wedding and wanted the best for us! The food was amazing and the chef was so genuinely kind and helpful, he made sure to box up our leftovers and showed us where everything was, and he was just incredibly friendly and positive! As was all the staff working the night- from the servers to the bar staff. Everyone is well trained and wonderful. Heidi was invaluable and she helped our wedding party so much!

She's a pro and good at what she does. The yard looked amazing, the perfect cozy, whimsical wedding if you want intimacy with the feeling of luxury. Jillian helped us plan so much for the evening and coordinated each detail PERFECTLY! We have to thank her from the bottom of our hearts! Heidi's gets a 5 star review for giving us an amazing wedding! We can never thank them enough!

I had the pleasure of having Heidi's cater my Murder Mystery Party at my home and my goodness it was flawless! Their team was so amazing and helpful. The food was just perfect! Jillian with the sales team worked up a custom menu that fit the theme of the murder mystery so perfect. The server even used a French accident and wore my silly French looking aprons. They were absolutely perfect! Made my event an amazing success! Thank you Heidi's!

Heidi's Catering is the best you'll find and I've worked with many. They catered the Celebration of Life for my father at our home with 75 guests. Mom was very pleased and so were all of the guests. The food was amazing. Everyone raved. EVERYONE. The presentation was terrific. The staff were phenomenal. We couldn't have asked for anything more. They were incredibly flexible too as we were earlier than expected from the cemetery. The never missed a beat. One of the family said the staff were always very present but never intrusive. I couldn't be more impressed. If you need catering go to Heidi's.

My go-to lunch place for salads! It is too hard to choose just one salad, so I always order a regular size combo, and then I eat it for lunch and dinner! My favorite salads are the Cobb, spinach and seafood broccoli!

Heidi's Events and Catering Venue was definitely the ideal place for our wedding ceremony and reception. The ambiance was very romantic and beautiful, and the facility fit our needs perfectly. The ceremony was magical, and I couldn't have pulled this wedding off during COVID without Jillian Zeeb, Tonya Schmit, Adam Ziminsky, Shelbie Hess and the rest of the dedicated staff members. Jillian was awesome to work with going above and beyond ensuring all of our dreams were realized while coming up with awesome suggestions (that also helped with our budget).

Her attention to detail was something that would inspire military generals! Jillian also took it upon herself to arrange our flowers and decorations just the way I envisioned. The food presentation was exquisite, thanks to Adam! The comments we received from our guests was that they felt as if they just dinned at a 5-Star restaurant and a wedding happened to break out!

The staff servers were attentive to all the guests needs with the service being top notch. I strongly recommend Heidi's Events and Catering to cater your next event or wedding!

Heidi's catered both of my daughters' weddings. September 2019 and most recently November 2020. Jillian has been exceptional to work with throughout both of these events to coordinate and make everything work perfectly. The food was fantastic - much better than typical "wedding food" and the menu options are vast. Also very notable was the service aspect. Special requests were noted and honored, staff was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend Heidi's for your event!

If you ever want to find the best salad wraps in downtown, I feel like you should make your way to the Pioneer Plaza where Heidi's Delis and Bistro is located. Its right next to the entrance of the building on Merchant Street. Heidi's offer a variety of fresh salads, soups, sandwiches and wraps. They also offer breakfast omelette and a variety of special that are displayed right in front of their shop.

My go to is always their chicken Caesar salad wrap. Their Caesar wrap is so good that I could practically eat it every day. What makes it really good is their Caesar dressing. It so creamy and just had the right flavor that makes a Caesar salad great. And because it's in a wrap form, I can basically eat it in a wrap. get it? I don't have to hassle with finding a place to sit and eat my salad. I've also tried their pastrami sandwich.

They give a nice amount of pastrami and it's tied perfectly with a nice amount of sauerkraut and cheese. The sauerkraut gives it a nice amount of acidity to the pastrami. Pre COVID, you were allowed to sit in the seats fronting the shop, but it does get busy during lunch hours as the seating are are shared with the surrounding eateries in the lobby of the Pioneer Plaza. The staff are quick when making your order so you're not really waiting for a while waiting for your meal. Definitely a great place to get a quick bite.

I passed by this place many, many times and it seemed like 10 years ago or more passed during that time. But, I never really stopped and to really look on their menu as to what they have to offer. They have some delicious sandwiches that is made fresh as you watch and wait for them to complete your masterpiece in a very short while. I paid for it and I decided to try it right away as it was hot and juicy!

I tried it and it was good. It would be better if it came with a dill pickle as that would make it great! When I am in the area again during work time. I will try another one of their delicious sandwiches that they have to offer and I will see if they sell a dill pickle separately. Some places it comes with it automatically and some you have to purchase it separately.

There is a lot of food places on the ground floor in the Pioneer Plaza building of 900 Fort Street Mall and there is a 7-11 added recently to here on the outside corner of Merchant Street side of the building. If you haven't been here already you are definitely missing out on a lot of good food places to eat at.

Always passed by this place when walking Pioneer Food Court but on Monday I decided to try this place out. I only tried the Heidis Benedict because Ive been on a benedict vibe lately. The sauce is different. it isnt the regular hollandaise sauce and its a little lumpy looking even if it doesnt have any texture. It caught my eye on the menu because basic benedict only has 1 type of meat: canadian bacon. There benedict comes with bacon, ham AND turkey. Pretty large size english muffin too.

If you're old enough and work in downtown Honolulu, you remember when there was a Heidi's in what was then called Grosvenor Center facing Queen Street and one in Bishop Square. The one in Pioneer Plaza is the last one standing. They offer sandwiches, salads and some baked goods like scones and brownies. I come here occasionally for a pastrami sandwich with sauerkraut and cheese. it's a savory, salty, sour mess and oh, so good! You can get a pastrami sandwich elsewhere downtown (like Aloha Subs and This is It Too) but this may be the only place to get it with sauerkraut. Enjoy!

The food and the service at Heidi's are both consistent and reliable. I use them for group lunches often and love that I can email them my order a day or so ahead of time and count on it being ready for pick up with the names printed on the items. They offer a wide variety of fresh made sandwiches and salads and everyone is always happy with their selection. I also appreciate that when they are going to be closed they make it clear on their website so I don't get stuck scrambling for a lunch meeting. Mahalo nui!

It was my first time here. I got the L.A. Express. Nothing breathtaking. Very average food. The one thing I'm concerned about is that they don't use gloves when they make the food.

I'm always there for a salad combo. It's pasta salad with either cobb or seafood. All heaven with little guilt! Can't beat the price at just over 8 bucks, not more. How is it that the veggies are at the perfect texture? Too distracted to figure out why. I'm so engrossed at every bite right now.

They have the best Cobb salad! The portions are solo big it last me lunch and dinner for only 7 bucks. Ok, so the reason I'm only giving 3 stars is the service and attitude of the 2 ladies that work there. They always act as if there are 50 people in line and they are stressed beyond belief. Even if no ones around. They are short and snappy with you. The man who works there however is very nice.

Heidi's is a big disappointment. I ordered the LA express. Which is a turkey bacon sandwich with avocado, sprouts, and Swiss cheese. They put one slice of turkey which I am not sure if you can really call it turkey, it looked more like bologne. They broke one piece of bacon in half. And that was it for bacon. The sprouts were nice but that was about it

Seems like Heidi hasn't been spending a lot of time at her lunch counter. My overall sense was of a non-owner-present business operating too long on autopilot. I needed some comforting and Heidi's soup and sandwich special--- ham and cheese panini with corn chowder for about $7.50 --- looked like it would give me a hug. What's more comforting to a mainland New England haole than ham and cheese and corn chowder, right?

The servers were pleasant. but the corn chowder was bland and under seasoned, and the panini was well toasted on the outside but the cheese was still unmelted inside. The overall feeling of the counter is dated, they had a green health inspection "pass" poster prominently displayed, but the front of the microwave oven didn't look so great. Overall it was OK, but nothing made me want to return.

This place is conveniently located close to my office. I've been here a few times and I have to say every time I've been here the customer service is terrible and the equipment and the people are dirty, they don't wear gloves! To top things off the prices are way too high. Not going back. I would recommend San Francisco Salads right next to them for a quick nearby lunch. Nicer and much cleaner!

Love the LA Express. It was the first thing I got from there and now I have a hard time trying something different.

I ordered the sandwich soup combo. I got the tuna panini, despite sitting in the panini grill the sandwich was cold, cheese was melted. It was average at best. I got the clam chowder, which really should be advertised as potato soup with a hint of clam. Soup was bland and grainy (clams needed to be cleaned better) also I found a hair in my soup. Lastly the brownie was more sugar then it was chocolate.

Also huge cockroach in the display, man tried to hide it from me as he removed it but I saw it. I know insects are forgiveable to a certain degree here in Hawaii but combined with my cold panini, hairy soup, and overly sugared brownie it was a bit much.

A few blocks away from my office and hidden in a little food alley in the pioneer plaza, I stumbled across this little shop serving soups, sandwiches and salads. My friend wanted to go here because she used to like their salads. I ordered their soup and sandwich special for under $8. It came with a tuna melt Panini. The bread was toasted crisp, with tuna, cheese and tomatoes. Don't expect a lot of filling but surprisingly, the Panini itself filled me up.

I tried the clam chowder which was good but a little too watery for a chowder. I loved the chunks of potatoes in there though. My friend ordered her salad, half Caesar and half greek. She ate the greek salad and enjoyed it but did not care for the sour tasting Caesar. :-( All in all, it was a mixed bag. But if I were in the area again, I'd give them another try. The staff was friendly and very quick (I'd give them 4 stars).

I've had quite a few of their sandwiches and salads and for the most part, the food is average - I usually come here when I don't want to make the long trek to Cafe Grazi or Le Crepe Cafe or want more than soup and salad from San Francisco Salad Company next door. I usually get any of the sandwiches that have avocado in it ~ I tried the turkey pesto panini, that wasn't so good.

I think mostly because they use regular bread for the panini and were pretty stingy with the pesto. The pasta salad is pretty good, just the right amount of dressing! Some of the ladies working there are nice, some might be stressed and don't seem happy to be there - but for the most part, they're cool with me!

I remember about 7 years ago Heidi's were located on Queen and Bishop. I wish they were still open. This place is my favorite place to eat as far as SALAD goes. Their Chicken Caeser Salad is the only place I go to if i'm in the mood of eating healthy.hahaha.but anyhow, I enjoy a salad that is not drowned with dressing and with all that good stuff that comes with the salad.

They give you a bonus by serving bread with your salad.mmm good.i've had other items on the menu but I choose to have their salad only, not that its not good, its just their salad is as good as it gets;! Pro's -Close to my job -Salad's are awesome -Friendly service Con's -A bit pricey

I just paid $8 for some lady to manhandle a roast beef sandwich with her bare hands, using costco ingredients, heating up the roast beef on a dirty reused ceramic plate in the microwave. Didn't even get any chips. Should of just went to Subway. Check out Mix Cafe if you are interested in paying $8 for a sandwich; they put thought and effort into selling a good product.

Love this place! Especially since it's a walking distance away from my work place. They have all sorts of sandwiches, bagels, paninis, salads and more! They also make really delicious homemade soup. My favorite is the corn chowder filled with lots of corn, big chunks of potatoes and carrots! I recommend ordering a combo which is either half sandwich (which are filling just by itself!) and soup or half salad and soup. Only downfall is that it's a little bit on the pricier side but the quality and taste is all worth it :)

I love deli's, so I can tell you when I find a good sammy! I've had a half dozen varieties of sandwiches here and some salads. I like their combo deals which are usually a half sandwich and salad. It'll cost you $7-9 bucks depending on what you order, but it's not uncommon for lunch downtown. I really like the roasted eggplant and grilled zucchini on rye and their turkey melt is pretty good. It's simply fresh bread with fresh ingredients. It's pretty quick to pick up and go. The sign is pretty hard to read, so pick up a printed menu to read through when you have time (it's pretty extensive).
