We used Gourmet Celebrations as our wedding caterer. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and the food and service at our wedding were phenomenal. We were very picky about having really good food at our wedding and Kristen and her team delivered! We received a number of glowing compliments from our guests on the food--many people told us it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Highly recommended!

I recently was fortunate to have Gourmet Celebrations delicious cater food at my 10 year anniversary party. My guest and I absolutely are over the moon on how FANTASTIC the food was, Dae and Gourmet Celebrations are definitely the top notch of excellence. The food was not only visually beautiful it was plated to perfection. I would highly recommend Gourmet Celebrations and will be honored to have them cater my future events.

Reliable, tasty, fresh ingredients, and well organized! I have had the pleasure of having Gourmet Celebrations cater a number of events for work and private celebrations. Every time, they have gone out of their way to ensure that the event is a memorable one. The food is absolutely delicious and freshly prepared. They ensure that the food is beautifully presented, served at the right temperature, and all well coordinated.
The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Prior to the event, everything is organized and planned out so that the event runs smoothly. I definitely recommend Gourmet Celebrations, they are fabulous! Can't wait to plan my next event with them!

Love the staff! Joey set up a tasting for us and let us play around with the menu. He took care of everything for our party, so we didn't have to think about it. Rentals, staff, bartenders, alcohol.all done. He even coordinated with our venue so we didn't have to worry about anything except having a beautiful day with our family! P.s. get the short ribs. Yum.

I have been using Gourmet Celebrations for years and I greatly appreciate their professionalism, presentation and attention to detail. The quality of food is excellent. They have worked with me on numerous occasions to accommodate special requests for a custom made entree, salad or dessert. I can always count on them for on-time delivery and the most courteous of service. The last thing I want to worry about is the food when I am hosting a special event and Gourmet Celebrations never disappoints.

My fiancee and I recently attended an event catered by Gourmet Celebrations. Let me say, we have been to over 20 catered events in the last three years, so we have become quite adept at picking out good and bad catering and this was by far the best catered wedding we had been to. From appetizers to dinner, along with the overall service, everything was top notch (and we are quite picky!) It was so good, I had to ask who the caterer was.and that's when we were introduced to Rebecca, who could not have been any more kind and friendly.despite the craziness of the event she was running. We got her number and Gourmet Celebrations information, and we will definitely be using them for a friends surprise birthday later this year.

Gourmet celebrations was wonderful. Rebecca helped with everything and I don't know what I would have done without her. From the food and service to the cake, we could not have asked for anything better! Every request was taken care of. We danced and ate and enjoyed the entire night. Thank you for making our wedding reception so special, it was fun and romantic all in one. It was everything we ever wanted! Rebecca, you are amazing, a superstar. Xoxo

I attended a party the Gourmet Celebrations was catering. There were many appetizer options all equally as yummy. The seafood appetizers were displayed on a gorgeous ice sculpture. The main course took a little longer to come out than I think expected but no one noticed because of the beautiful drinks flowing and the staff were engaging. Dinner was superb.
Better than a lot of 5 star restaurants. I don't know how they did it with so many guests but everyone's food from what I could see was piping hot. I had to Instagram a bunch of pics because I'm a "foodie" and the presentation was top notch. I would recommend them based on my experience however I was a guest and didn't have to organize the party. Not sure how pricey or how difficult it is to work with them.

I recently attended an event catered by this catering company and had a terrible experience. They were serving appetizers at an event and the food was slow in coming out. I finally got a taste of a small slice of cucumber then a taste of a beef appetizer. I told the server that I thought it was tasty and that I will look forward to having another piece when she came out.
When she did return I walked towards her and asked if I could have a piece and she said, "No, this is for people who have not had any!" Since I was with some important people who heard this, i was terribly embarrassed. When she walked by me again, I quietly told her that what she said was very rude to which she responded, "oh well!" laughed and walked away.
It bothered me enough to recently call the company to tell them about this server. If it were my company, I want want to know. I spoke to the Events Manager and told him the story. His response was this, "Well, we always tell our servers to make sure everyone gets enough food." So, there you have it - If you want your guests treated like if they are beggars in a soup line and not guests, hire this company.

Since 2011, Gourmet Celebrations has gone above and beyond in fulfilling our corporate catering needs at our busy private equity firm. They are the only caterer in the Los Angeles area who has been consistently dependable, always punctual and enthusiastic to fulfill our every request. It is a pleasure working with such a reliable company and I definitely recommend GC for any catering needs you may have, from baby showers, to meetings to weddings - there is nothing they cannot do!

I do a lot of office catering for working lunches and dinners and have recently started using Gourmet Celebrations for every one of my orders. They are fabulous! Not only is all the food delicious, but they make it so easy. I send an email with basic instructions on what I need: date, time, headcount, dietary restrictions, and budget. Then they plan the meal for me and deliver hot, delicious food on time!
There doesn't seem to be any limitations on what they can do. The other night I wanted margaritas with my dinner order.not a problem! (they even included salt for the glasses) I need food for 10 people, but can one meal be packaged individually? Not a problem! I need vegan options, not a problem (and not just salad)! Ayla is a fabulous event coordinator and I will definitely continue using them for all my catering needs.

They were AMAZING at my wedding! We had a slider bar and french fries and macaroni and cheese puffs and they were all delicious. All my guests were very pleased with the options they had. They really hit the nail on the head for the food I had requested for my event. Everything was displayed great and looked amazing and tasted fresh and was extremely tasty.
My guests still talk about how great everything was at the buffet table! The service was also excellent. They supplied the bar, bartenders and servers and they were all professional and took very good care of us and all our guests. They also created a wide variety of pies for our dessert table and they were adorable and incredibly good as well. They had three different kinds and were all decorated very nicely and matched our theme. I am so happy with everything they did for us and how they were a part of our special day.

I have had a couple of events done by Gourmet Celebrations and have attended a couple of other events planned by them as well. I must say I have not been disappointed and highly recommend them for corporate and personal events. I have especially enjoyed working with Karla in the event planning department. I am able to give her a theme, or even just a color scheme for an event and she will definitely come up with an event that is elegant and just plain fun!
Always professional and beyond my expectations, the whole team at GC makes me look good. I always receive great compliments when GC caters and plans my parties! There is no menu that I have found that they cannot do and always within budget. Karla is very honest and I appreciate that! Good job GC! Trying to figure out my next event as i type this!

I attended an event last night catered by this company. Having gone the year before for the same event but catered by a different restaurant, I was a bit surprised how completely different last night's event was. Last year, there was a brick ton of food. It was set up so that people could converge on a table set up in the middle of the room. The table was accessible from both sides.
I remember happy people being able to get tidbits of tasty morsels with minimal effort. Last night, they set up three small tables against the wall causing massive lines and general melee as people tried to scavenge for grub. There was pushing, a bit of shoving, a lot of sneaky food snatching and the poor servers bore the brunt of the disgruntled crowd.
Although I like the idea of being able to carve off a hunk of cheese, I think the cheeses should have been pre-sliced as I watched old ladies make off with massive blocks. Which I suppose is fine since I didn't like any of the cheeses. They had a pear they decorated to look like a mouse which was cute. The crackers looked like they came from Trader Joe's.
The olives and quince were good though. The veggie plate was fine although the dip wasn't all that tasty. I was shocked someone stuck the tongs into the dip though maybe they did that to warn us the dip wasn't great? I thought the jicama carved to look like tulips was kind of cute. They didn't carve the other veggies though. I did like the Southwestern salad with the avocado and tortilla strips.
Of the floating appetizers (or maybe they weren't floating as the servers tried to get them to the buffet tables but would invariably get stopped by the food grubbers), I only really liked the tuna tartar on a wonton chip. A server offered me "tuna in a lettuce cup" but it was really just a tiny carved cucumber. Ahahah. There were three desserts last night.
The banana bread pudding was okay. The oreo cookie cheesecake was fine. But the chocolate mousse was odd. It had a minty aftertaste but it didn't go well with the random blueberries in mousse. Ah, but the champagne and wine were great!

***Update 06/08: After over a year of staff changes etc this company seems to have lost its edge. It went from being a small, nice group to work for that had pretty decent food to.well, blech. They don't even call me anymore I believe due to the fact they have lost a lot of gigs. Oh well, raise a glass to another fallen friend.*** I work for them on occasion so how could I not give five stars?
Seriously though, I try not to work anywhere I don't like the food and everytime I work an event I always have to sneak a lil' "trial taste" because everything always looks so good and I am never disappointed. They cater everything from small parties ( I did two small graduation parties this weekend) to large events (AZN awards most recently) This company is most well known for being attached to Air Gourmet which is known for premiere private airline catering so they are open 24/7. If you need a caterer, give 'em a call! Hey, maybe I can work your event;-)
