Hemi's Pizza & Grill

Really enjoyed our 442 pizza. It was hot, extra cheesy and extra saucy. If you like Detriot-style, thick slices - you will like them!

Delicious pizza, amazing crust, and tasty salad. For two dudes that just came from travelling, this was a god send.

RAW DOUGH! Ordered 3 pizzas and 2 of them were extremely raw. I tried calling, it was actually hard to get through, first it was busy then it rang with nobody picking up. I told the person of the issue and they said sorta nonchalantly that the chef would call me back. The chef did call back within 30 minutes and apologized. He offered a refund. Which is what I would expect and if they actually did I probably wouldn't be writing this review.

But a few days go by and I don't see any refund processed. I decided to email them. I never heard back. Long story short they served me raw dough which is extremely dangerous, didn't follow through on their word, then never responded to my follow up. Will not be returning.

Giving five stars because the pizza is fantastic, but as a previous review mentioned, getting there was kind of a pain due to having to sign in at the security booth and having to figure out where it actually was. They appear as separate locations on Maps but this is Chef Tony's restaurant on the bottom floor (take the stairs down from the lobby).

This. Pizza. Is. Freaking. Insaneee. My top two faves are definitely the Hemi Original and The Roasted Chicken Pesto. The Hemi Original has such great crunch and soft or pillow like texture inside, I'm no chef but it's definitely butter instead of oil on the bottom of the crust, the roasted chicken pesto is just phenomenal period.

Chef Tony has outdone himself with this delicious pizza! Not only did it remind of the thick crust pizza my grandfather from Italy made, but the flavor was spectacular! He raised the bar on pizza for the area

Chef Tony's Hemi pizza is delicious. When I told my mouth we were ordering it again this weekend, my tastebuds stood up and cheered! It's just the right amount of crunch, cheesy, buttery goodness and sauce. You can taste their love of cooking in each bite. Search no further and enjoy. The best. Period.

We love HEMI pizza.the crust is buttery like a focaccia, with a thick layer of brick cheese and a perfectly garlicky sauce with bright tomato flavor. Bethesda needed a new pizza option, and this is different than your standard pizza. Definitely give it a try, it's delicious!

Omg, their Detroit style pizza is amazing. Just tried the cheese and chicken pesto and both were delicious. The chicken pesto was bursting with flavor. Everything I've had at Chef Tony's has been amazing over the years.

Chef Tony's HEMI brand Detroit-style pizza was a revelation; his pies deftly balance crunchy, buttery crust with creamy block cheese and a streak of herb-laced, homemade sauce on top. The cup pepperonis also introduced a new (to me) twist on the traditional pizza topping. Just plain delicious.
