As a long standing restaurant with a stellar reputation for consistently delicious food it is despicable that the face of this business is a haughty, loud mouthed bully. On a busy Friday, June 17 2022 several people were on line to pick up called in orders. We all watched as a woman on line walked up and got heatedly reprimanded for asking about her order that had been paid for and was bagged and ready on the shelf.

After the woman got her order, the employee told her coworker, at the counter, that she should "slap that woman ". Then this employee started to make moves to do just that. It was a horrible scene. Shame on the manager that has employed this worker.

It was excellent! Gumbo was some of the best ever. Great people and great service. A must in J'ville.

Best chicken and sausage gumbo ever! The Reubenand chicken salad are quite delicious. If you download the Upside app you can get cash back from there. It has allowed me to explore the menu and save money! So many more things to try.

This is a great spot for breakfast or lunch. All of the meals are prepared well and healthy. Love the Chicken Sandwich on Croissant and the fruit salad on the side. Nice. Please do not forget the lemon cake for desert, the best homemade there is.

Ordered on line, asked for salad dressing on the side, paid for avocado add in which I didn't get. Although the salad looks great, it's not appealing without all ingredients and quite dry without salad dressing.

Had plenty of workers but seemed very chaotic. Had an online order that they had apparently given to someone else. So had to wait 15 minutes while they remade mine after standing around trying to figure out who gave someone the wrong bag. Food was good as always. Seems to be under new management.

The food was great! The service was awesome, I called in a catering order for 40 ppl at 1030 am & my order was ready for pickup at 1140. My entire order was correct down to the pickles.

One cold and rainy afternoon we stopped by Clara's Tidbits Restaurant while passing through Jacksonville. We were surprised upon entering how spacious the restaurant was. There was plenty of seating available, and we chose a window seat in the corner of the room. But before seating, we needed to order. This was done with some success using the kiosks in the lobby area.

My sister and brother-in-law tend to complicate their orders more than my wife and I, so they ended up approaching the counter and placing their order with a real human. I'm not sure what the benefits of the kiosks would be, but I suppose if one were a regular at the restaurant it might speed up the ordering process. The restaurant was quite clean.

The bathrooms even had a hint of a bleach smell to them, which isn't a bad thing. The staff was friendly, helpful, and patient, given that this was our first time. And the food was quite good. My wife and I both ordered sandwiches and soups, and the sandwiches allow for quite a bit of customization. The bread for the sandwiches was soft and the produce used for the sandwiches and salads was fresh and crisp. Clara's Tidbits Restaurant is a winner, and I would definitely consider stopping again while passing through Jacksonville.

I pass this spot often, but I didn't realize it was where I was ordering lunch from on DoorDash today. Everything was delicious and very fresh! I got the chicken avocado pita and pasta salad. The pita was huge and jam packed. I subbed the chicken chunks for chicken salad and it was literally the best chicken salad I've had in Jacksonville. This is definitely my new favorite lunch spot! I meant to take pics but it didn't last long enough to snap any!
