Services
Great food, service, and history. My nick name has always been " The Blonde Bomber" given to me by my Pa, he flew Bomber's in the War. I felt close to him looking at all the photographs on your walls. Thank you we all had a great time! My dad, Leland Strothers, was a B-17 mechanic @ RAF Grafton-Underwood, UK. "The Bomber" is a long distance from Chattanooga, but I hope to visit someday in honor of my dad. I remember the Bomber from when I was a boy. My Dad was friends with Art. I haven't been back to Portland in years I miss it.

The staff were very friendly and the service was good. Everyone at our table enjoyed there food except for me. I ordered the breakfast steak which was a rib eye. The steak was very thin and tasted like the meat had soured. It was terrible. So, I recommend the Bomber Restaurant, but take my advice and pick something other than the steak.

Our kids were hangry (anger caused by hunger). An off duty employee recognized this and discreetly asked our server to bring us some appetizers while we waited for our food. She brought out little serving cups of Fruit Loops and it worked like a charm. I can't express how kind and thoughtful that was for two parents who struggle going out to eat when life happens. By the way, the Bomber Burger was excellent.

Food was hot, fresh, and served quickly. Employees were friendly and engaging. However, my two piece fish and chips, was overcooked. Fish and fries were too crunchy. They "didn't see" my friend's child's order, so her fish wasn't overcooked, but arrived when the adults were almost finished eating. There was an apology, but I feel they should have discounted her meal, if not given it free.

I loved the atmosphere! It was quite great in many ways. The food was exquisite and the staff was really inviting. My waitress Courtney was very kind and humorous. Throughout the day she kept up the same welcoming and enthusiastic role that a waitress should have. It is very evident that she loves her job here and puts the customer first above all. Again great place. Food was a little bit expensive, but the portion they provide is worth it. Highly recommend!
