I owe my love of cooking and desire to make people happy through eating and drinking entirely to my Sicilian family. I learned to cook and care for others by watching my great aunts and uncles tend small backyard gardens, sitting with them at the kitchen table while they prepared handmade feasts for enormous family lunches and holidays.

I've come to the restaurant twice at somebody's high endorsement, but it must have dipped after their chef quit and the owner started doing the cooking. They seem not to do a very good job of estimating and meeting demand because both times, they were already out of their main items by the time I arrived. Keep in mind I was arriving within the stated opening hours of a super limited-hours pop-up restaurant (Saturday mornings for four hours.), not a 9-2 every day sort of deal.
The first time they pushed their ice cream onto me, telling me it was their speciality. Was some kind of bland, watery disaster that I ate half of before I threw away. The second time, they had left their "premium" coffee, which I daren't even describe the quality of. Tasted like a Folgers concoction out of a carafe that had been sitting around at the "heat" setting too long.
A second overpriced disaster that ended up in the trash can. I've not gone back. Recognizing that this restaurant is no longer operational (did it go out of business?), since the owner and chef remains the same for this catering service, I believe my review is still pertinent.

The restaurant looks nice and the design is very inspiring, but the service wasn't good at all and the food portion wasn't satisfactory. For the amount of money they charged I expected way more. We found insects in the cups and the plates weren't very clean. I asked the the waitress about the menu and she was rude answering that " we have wherever you see on the menu".
The staff was unpleasant and rude. They had half of the menu unavailable to order. They didn't have any kid's menu, so we ordered a grill cheese for our son and it came burned! I had to grab napkins and silverware for us because they forgot to bring them to our table. We paid 70 dollars total for something that was worth maybe 20,00 dollars maximum.
Once we left i had to get two hamburgers because i was hungry. I definitely recommend them to pay more attention on the service and food instead of the restaurant's appearance. I rather order domino's than their food.

My husband and I live nearby and decided to try it pre-Covid. We both very much enjoyed our breakfasts then. During and after the lockdown we tried them a few more times but really found the staff (owner?) unpleasant and eventually stopped ordering. I think they have certain regulars and we did not fall into their hipster category. Well my husband wanted to try their fried mussels the other night since we haven't had them in a while and he got violently sick throughout the night. He didn't even want to tell the owner because of how unpleasant she has been in the past. Also, their hours are impossible to keep up with and change way too often.

Go here and go here now. Stop overlooking it. Just do it. You won't be upset. I went in a brunch and really LOVED their middle eastern influenced meals. I'm not sure if that changes, but what I had left me very impressed! Lynn is lucky to have such a gem! The teas and sodas (if you aren't a drinker) are absolutely fantastic

We had an amazing on site dining experience. The staff was warm and welcoming. Very informative, attentive but not intrusive. Intimate atmosphere. Food was fantastic. We had the bacon tarte flambee pizza, house made chips, sweet potatoes soup and skate wing dinner. Each dish was well prepared. The skate wing was above and beyond our expectations. We also brought a couple pieces of cake for dessert. Overall a very great experience. Highly recommended! Thank you to the wonderful team!

Uncommon Feasts is an amazing experience 100% of the time. This is one of the restaurants you wish you knew about before they blew up and became Michelin starred and you can't get in anymore. The chefs create these insane combinations of flavors that not only sound good but balance perfectly. This food hits different. Stop reading and go book a table asap. We also have gotten some of their premade meals before and they are fantastic! Got us through the lockdown!

Really great evolving restaurant! Uncommon Feasts has been outstanding since day one. I like that Michelle works with local farms and artists to create a space that represents the community. Each time I visit, there is something new to fall in love with. The market is filled with house made foods and specialty goods. The restaurant is always brings delicious and inventive food to the table. Themed weekend dinners are a must and I would make a reservation as soon as slots open.

Uncommon Feasts is amazing! I started going there before the pandemic, when they were first serving indoors, and found the place - decor, food and people to be magical. Then I switched to delivery and take-out, not just for their prepared food but also market items like local vegetables and eggs, which I've depended on for months. I love the unusual combinations of local seasonal ingredients and international spices and presentation (Moroccan, Persian, etc.). There's always a creative twist.
And the ice creams and desserts are to die for. Last but not least, Michelle is so friendly and appreciative -- the whole team is really. Love the sophisticated yet somehow laid-back vibe with a neighborhood welcome. It's amazing how they've been able to keep pivoting their business model during the crazy year of 2020, yet still keep the quality food, vibe and team intact. Love this place.

Their website says open at 11, Went with 2 friends the driver had to go to an appointment so needed to sit down for food within the hour get there and greeted to a locked door with the sign still saying open at 11; One of the Kitchen workers basically rudely kicked us out saying "We're not open till 12!" There was no sign posted on the door to signify that there would be a change of normal business hours. UN-PRO-FESSIONAL!

The menu looked so interesting. So I have a small family so I ordered dinner. Half chicken for me and my son. Ribs for my husband. And some cheese. And home made chips. When I went in to pick up it is beautiful in there. So much to look at. When she took my bag out I expected it to be big and it was so small. Now I spent over 70 dollars so I was a little nervous.
Yes the portions were small. But filling we actually were full. We always want to see big large portions but we know we don't need all that food. So I was very happy with our meal. The creamed kale was fantastic. It was really to expensive for me and my family. I may go back and get pickled vegetables or something but I felt like it was a lot for my budget. But if you have the money go for it. I did enjoy it.

Stopped in here after a friends referral. The store is all local ingredients, and also has a full restaurant to sit at. We ordered the pretzel brat and BLT. The potato salad that came with the Brat was the best potato salad we have ever had in our life. We'll be back in again to feed our new potato salad addiction.

This place is excellent! Tried delivery twice- first time we got the BBQ chicken and shishito peppers pizza (insanely good) and the green bean salad with raspberry vinaigrette (sounds weird, but super flavorful). Today we go the rotisserie chicken which is slow cooked all day and only available after 4p. It was perfectly cooked, juicy and the rub on the skin had a good little kick to it.
Also got the tomato confit and parmesan herb spaetzle pasta, which was super fresh and tasty. Of course, got the green bean salad again. Beyond the food, the staff on the phone are very friendly and patient (I always ask a million questions) and have accommodated special requests for my little one. You can also see their whole menu and order delivery on the Toast app. Give them a try- you won't be disappointed!

Uncommon Feasts Cafe has quickly become my favorite restaurant. Amazing food, amazing people, amazing atmosphere. Highly recommend if you want a satisfying, flavorful meal - either shared family style with good company or a la carte. Great space to hang out both during the day and at night when open for dinner. Michelle, the owner, truly loves what she does and you can taste it and see it in every beautifully plated meal. You will not be disappointed!

Oh my. Heard great things about this place and had to come check it out. Amazing atmosphere and the food was delicious. Everything is made from scratch and local. New favorite place to dine in Lynn for sure. I got the chorizo dish with pickled veggies, their homemade spicy chai and freshly squeezed tangerine juice!

Uncommon Feasts Cafe is my new food obsession. I've visited 4 times in the past month for lunch and can't wait to try dinner soon. I have no criticisms at all. The food is delicious, well priced, and sourced from local farms and producers. The staff is kind, professional and friendly. The space is light, airy and comfortable. My kids LOVE the ping pong table and the food.
We have sampled the lemonade (with orange blossom water!), the falafel plate, the Croque l'autumne, ham & brie and many of their sweets. It's all been delightful. I dream of the crunchy little falafel with warm, soft pita fairly regularly. The croque is gooey with cheese and sweet squash. Housemade nougat is a delicious treat. We just can't wait for an excuse to come back again and again!

Located within the historic Lydia Pinkham building, Uncommon Feasts is an uncommon space in Lynn. Airy and open, industrial chic, with long tables to encourage conversation, the space is a unique spot coupled with thoughtfully prepared food and coffee making for a nice addition to the neighborhood. We stopped into Uncommon Feasts for lunch and found parking on a side street. Walking into the building, one must navigate down a few hallways until you pass a working prep kitchen into an open seating area.
There are quite a few long tables, couches, shelves with fresh jams and other kitchen goods, and a ping pong table. The menu was written on a sheet of construction paper reflecting changing, daily specials. One orders at a window peering into the kitchen with staff hard at work preparing meals and supporting an impressive catering operation. Fresh coffee and tea were available as was an inviting dessert charcuterie of truffles, figs, and other sweets.
We enjoyed our brunch - especially the salmon, cream cheese, and arugula on a One Mighty Mill Bagel and less for the tortilla plate (fried egg, kale, squash, red onion on a tortilla). The weekend brunch menu had a nice mix of vegetarian and non-veg options and we look forward to returning for dinner. Staff was very friendly and hospitable. There is no table service at lunch (unclear if this is the case at dinner). Uncommon Feasts is a nice spot to grab coffee, read a design magazine in a cool, industrial space, and show off Lynn's uncommon spaces to visiting friends.

The perfect caterer for foodies and all who love delicious and creative menus without any fuss or bother. I used Uncommon Feasts for a birthday party at home, and had a selection of scrumptious, locally sourced and beautifully created dishes, at an extremely reasonable price. Highly recommended and would definitely use Uncommon Feasts again.

Uncommon Feasts is really something special. Michelle works with you to customize each and every aspect of your event, whether it is a dinner party for 10 or a wedding for 100. She is dedicated to working with local farmers and uses in season produce. Her menus are reflective of her relationships she has developed with these amazing growers, meat purveyors, fish mongers and cheese shops.
The attention to detail Michelle has is incredible and really reflects in the tastes of her (amazing) food. The wines they select for their events are from small growers using biodynamic and organic farming practices.
Having an event with Uncommon Feasts will really change your views on catering and how it should be done! Once you have a UF event, you’ll be hooked!
