Light My Fire BBQ Catering

Light My Fire BBQ began in June, 2004 and live in Murfreesboro, Tennessee with our family- Cat - Ash and dog- Patiences and turtle- Spits. We have won over 40 awards on the professional BBQ circuit sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society- KCBS. We have appeared on NBC Nashville Star tv show, ABC 33/44 Birmingham, AL, Southern Women Show cooking stage in Nashville and Birmingham.

BBQ is in our blood - Jeff grew up in Kansas City, MO the mecca for all things BBQ, Sheila was born in TX and grew up near St. Louis, MO. Jeff's Great Great Grandfather Henry Fellers moved to Missouri from Jonesboro, TN in 1866, bringing some Southern family recipes, that were past down through the years that we mix with our love of BBQ styles from Kansas City, Texas and Tennessee.

Jeff has a background in advertising, event planning, promotions and music media working with companies such as Billboard/Musician Magazine, Southeast Performer, Musicians Atlas, Nashville New Music Conference, Studio On Wheels, KC Royals, Nashville Superspeedway, Nashville Rescue Mission, Mercy Ministries and more.

Sheila has worked in the food industry for 8 years with well know restaurants such as Cracker Barrel, Logans and Tony Roma's. A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, Sheila is a Special Education teacher at Castle Heights Upper Elementary School in Lebanon, Tennessee.
