I had the Sunday special, smothered steak sandwich. I'm a big meat eater so I'd rate it below average as a steak. I ordered medium-rare but it was solidly a medium. Wasn't anything smothered about it. Full portobello mushrooms, no sauce, and just a sprinkle of cheese on a slice of Texas toast. The mashed potatoes were good. Service was pretty solid and wasn't very busy. Pretty expensive overall. Given what I got for the steak I wouldn't risk the $40 for a full steak. 6/10

Interurban has good comfort food and a relaxing environment. It's a good place to go with family.

My daughter and I had a late lunch here on Monday and were very pleased with the food, service and cleanliness of Interurban. I think Briana was our server and was perfect. Couldn't have asked for anything better. The burger, egg rolls and quesadillas were all very tasty. We will be going back next time we visit.

Food is ok but seems dirty inside. Last visit the waiter was giving us a sob story which felt made up and a way to try to get a bigger tip only his service was not good. Lunch time seems better than evening.

Busy but still had good service. southwest egg rolls where greasy but the rest of the food was really good. The tequila bread pudding was excellent.

Stoped in for lunch on February 26 for lunch. I walk with a cane, so I don't do well with steps, the hostess started to lead us up steps to seat us. We had to ask for a different seat. I didn't her very observant. I can look past this, but my low rating is because of the food. Southwest egg rolls were soaked in grease and didn't taste that great. House "salad" looked like left over lettuce on a plate with chunks of vegetables on it, not really a salad, more like an after thought of a salad.

I honey mustard chicken sandwich, it was ok I could do better at home without thinking about it. At any rate I have been going there for years, but after this experience I will not be going back

I recommend starting your meal with the cracker breaded cheese mozzarella sticks because oh my goodness it's so good especially with the honey mustard dipping sauce

I had the cheese enchiladas and I and they were dried out and were not even hot. Nor were the beans and rice it was definitely not made fresh.! We walked into a not-particularly-full restaurant. We were quickly seated and brought water by a host. Lots of staff milling around, it looked like a big party in another area was ending. Still lots of staff milling around. We picked out our orders, left the menus at the edge of the table, sat for a while, one of my kids went to the bathroom, came back, we decided to give them another 2 minutes, waited 5, still no server.

We just left. If it took that long to take our order, how long would it take to get food. I just looked at my Life360 data and we were there 25 minutes. I would have been more understanding if we hadn't had so many staff walking around the restaurant.

Disappointed in the chicken fried chicken meal with the mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. Very bland. It was my first time to go so maybe I just ordered the wrong meal.

Food was delicious, drinks were very very good, our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, and the only item to improve would be the time it took to receive our food once ordered. This was our first time and we will be back!

Not very good. The apple cobbler was put in a cold frying pan and served to me. The perfect Marg was not very good. The fish tacos lacked taste. The salsa has been sitting for a bit and went through a food processor. Everything was just average.

Totally fell off it's just a white people food restaurant now. Nothing has flavor. Chips and salsa and queso are a disgrace for $7. Servers are nice tho

Wow. What a disappointment we had this evening. We've always told our friends that Interurban is the place that never disappoints. Regardless of what you order. Their dishes have always been a delight. This evening, however, we ordered the bow tie pasta and it was tasteless. Watered down. And just not as delectable as usual. The other order was the vegetable plate.

It is always steamed to perfection. I got my plate and the veggies looked wilted. When I tasted them they were watery. So they must now be boiling these vegetables instead of steaming. It was a very bad experience. I don't know if they got a new cook or if the one just had an off day. But we refuse to give up just like that so we will give another opportunity to make things right. Hopefully next time it will be back to. Or mail.

This place is like a 2nd home, friends and family for years and years. Today my burger was ordered medium and was well overdone with no moisture or flavor to it. It's my fault for not saying anything, I was was just hungry and needed to leave time wise. Maybe they can throw me a bone down the road, if not that's ok as well. They r just 99% always on point, and today I didn't have other options.

We called the restaurant at 10 minutes till 9:00 because we knew the kitchen closed at 9:00 to order our food. A group of us wanted to get drinks and a couple of us wanted food. The manager would not let us pre order even though we were going to be there by 9:00. They obviously do not need our business. Never eating there again!

We saw a comment that there were no Covid restrictions so we drove across town to come here. The food was delicious, service was fast and friendly and we did not have to wear a mask! Love it! Thanks for letting us think for ourselves.

We visit this location often! We enjoy sitting at the bar and talking with Dakota! He knows all his regulars and is super friendly! We also love they give customers a choice in regards to masks, especially since the mandate has been lifted! Tables in the restaurant give plenty of space, but the bar is fully open. customer choice at its finest!

Don't eat here! The place is literally falling apart, and it didn't feel clean. They take 0 covid precautions, such as no social distancing, seating me and my friend very close to others. No masks on people waiting to be seated. All of our food was cold and tasted like it was reheated. I wasn't really hungry so so I got mozzarella sticks, and one of them tasted really cold, almost frozen. Overall, I am sad to see this restaurant not thriving as it used to, and it felt as it wasn't as good of food as it used to be.

If you're familiar with the OKC metro area, Interurban is a local favorite. We stopped for dinner and as usual, had a very good experience. Their menu is perfect for those days when everyone wants something different. Mrs. Flip Out had a house side salad with the chicken strip dinner. It had generous portions and the chicken strips are an original recipe.

Their entrees come with a delicious dinner roll/muffin that always is so good. She really liked her meal. It will come as no surprise that I had their Tex-Mex ground beef enchiladas. If you get anything from the Tex-Mex menu, it comes with chips and salsa. I really enjoyed the enchiladas and they had great flavor. With chips and salsa, it was very filling. The service was great and you will enjoy Interurban when you go.

Came here for a family dinner and it was a positive experience. We had a party of 12-15 and they sat us in the back away from the general dining area. Food portions were solid and in line with the price per dish. Everything tasted good. Kids actually ate the food which is a big win! Service was also real well. Took a star off for the queso as they put a teaspoon of taco meat in it. Still good none-the-less- just being nitpicky.

This review is for how the food was prepared for delivery. The messiest pasta dish was set on top of the other dishes. All of them were haphazardly stacked. Regardless of how the driver may be partially at fault for the mess we received, I would have expected a lot better and safer packaging coming from a place as expensive as Interrurban. It looked like some had gotten ill in the bag.

I have had good food and service when inside the establishment. Let's hope something like this is considered for future togo orders. A simple packaging change would have kept things from spilling all over.

Walking into Interurban is like entering any chain. Did I turn you off there? Good! Run away and leave the rest for me! Seriously, I love Interurban. We don't go there when we want fancy. We don't go for fried. We go when we want to give our family meat, veg and potatoes (what we would call a "normal meal"), but we're too lazy to cook at home.

Their grilled chicken is always perfect and Chelsea's honey chicken is my go to (with the sauce on the side. I get it with double veggies instead of potatoes (because I'm eating the bacon and I want to shave some calories off the rest) and I get the sauce on the side for the same reason. I share with my 2 year old who lives for chicken and broccoli, but I always order a second muffin because he WILL NOT SHARE that.

Our 5 year old loves the picture menu since before he could read and feels so comfortable ordering his own drinks and meals there. At this rate, he could probably order for us, too! The servers are so friendly they have the same charm as great babysitters, and also don't hover. Tables and seats are always clean and we haven't had a bad experience in our 10+ visits. I occasionally hold the yelp duchess title at this location because I just like it that much.

Pros: Server was nice Food arrived quickly It wasn't a noisy place (mostly older couples) Bathrooms were clean Cons: Flies. I mean friggin flies EVERYWHERE! They were all over the damn windows and it was grossing me out. The waitress started spraying down tables as we ate our burgers which was pretty gross to smell chemicals as I'm trying to eat and NOT be grossed out by the 1,000 flies all around me. I could maybe come back but if I did and saw flies all over, I would be out of there and expect a comp'd meal. That was just so g

A Monday lunch at Interurban Restaurant provided a chance to relax. I ordered a classic burger with cheese and French Fries. The fries were standard fare. They were the regulation size and cooked to a golden brown. Their texture was textbook neither soft or crisp. Nothing worth writing about. The hamburger bun a soft mildly bready copious offering with a very thin crust, quite adequate for the job at hand.

The meat was soft any tasty with the appropriate spongy texture and caramelized crust. The cheese was a silent partner adding it's cheesy undertone to the sandwich in a proper cheddary range. The onions were properly grilled after an initial offering and send back.their caramelized flavor added a harder overtone to the flavors giving an added dimension to the whole. It was a burger worth the eating but I would consider a different side next time.
