Limelight Catering

I cannot recommend Limelight more highly. They were wonderful to work with from start to finish (even with having to reschedule our wedding date from 2020 to 2021), and all the food and drinks at our wedding were incredible. Every last thing was delicious and plated beautifully, and we had so many guests commenting on how much they enjoyed all of the food. They handled allergies and dietary restrictions without batting an eye and with no issues whatsoever. We absolutely loved working with them!

Amazing crew. Not your standard caterer, it was easy to see they were comfortable on set and happy to work around a fluid filming schedule.

I worked with Bryn from Limelight on catering and event management for my wedding at the Bridgeport Art Center and everything was absolutely incredible! Hiring Limelight and working with Bryn was the best decision we made and our guests are still talking about the appetizers! Bryn is thoughtful, creative and organized, and made us feel at ease throughout the whole process. She's a pro!

We used Limelight Catering for our wedding at Chicago Illuminating Company and it was one of the best decisions we made! Bryn was amazing and easy to work with, and the food exceeded everyone's expectations (a friend texted me afterwards that it was "start to finish, the best wedding food" he's ever had). Hire a lawyer BEFORE you hire Limelight Catering. Our long-planned event could not go forward due to the pandemic and associated government orders. Despite months of notice of that fact, Limelight refused to refund the 50% upfront deposit we paid them. At least four Revel Group clients (three wedding sponsors and a corporate event sponsor) so far have sued Limelight and/or their related companies (Revel Space, Revel Motor Row, Revel Fulton Market, Revel Decor, the Revel Group) for keeping tens of thousands of dollars of their deposits. Who knows how many others Limelight treated (or will treat) the same way?

My background is in catering, so I am admittedly very picky, but Allison and the team at Limelight provide superior customer service, efficient and effective communication, and above all, delicious food and first class service during our events. We have used them for multiple events for many years now, and they continue to exceed my expectations every time. Our guests always rave about how great the food is- they make me look good! For any party, big or small, I HIGHLY recommend Limelight Catering.

Wonderful company who knows the ins and outs. Food was amazing and could not be happier with service and preparation. Limelight catering is AMAZING! Each bite of their food is perfection and not only is the taste fantastic, but the presentation as well. They could make any food we could think of/wanted come to life. Safe to say no one left hungry/unsatisfied from our wedding! Hire Limelight and you will not regret it!

I chose Limelight for my wedding caterer and could not have been more pleased. My husband and I were impressed with them from the very moment we stepped into their tasting room. The food that they offered at the tasting was delicious and they were more than willing to make adjustments to each dish as we requested. We worked with Chelsey who was very knowledgeable in everything from their food offerings to their serving platters and made smart and thoughtful suggestions.

We did 3 different food stations - Mexican, southern, and farmers market. The day of our wedding, Limelight even added a little extra flare to each station by providing some decor to distinguish between the three different styles, I thought this was a thoughtful touch. Unfortunately, my nerves didn't allow me to eat much on my wedding day but Chelsey was more than happy to wrap up some leftovers for us to take home and enjoy after the reception.

I was so happy to have the opportunity to actually taste and enjoy everything that we paid for when my stomach was back to normal! I had tons of guests compliment the food and many even told me that it was the best wedding meal that they'd ever had (which was our goal). People really enjoyed the stations and went back for seconds and thirds. It was a hit!

Especially for our vegetarian, gf, and special diet guests since there were so many options to choose from. Limelight executed cocktail hour, dinner, dessert, and our late night snack beautifully. They served up mini milkshakes after dinner which guests thoroughly enjoyed - I know b/c this was one of the most pictured things about our day that I saw on Facebook from friends and family!

I'd give Limelight 10 stars for their impeccable work if I could and recommend them to all engaged couples looking for something a little more than your basic chicken or beef wedding options.

Limelight catered and coordinated our wedding in the summer of 2013 and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! The food was EXCEPTIONAL -- guests still rave about how delicious it was! -- and the decor and service was truly wonderful. Working with Nicole and Eliza, and the entire Limelight staff was easy and made the wedding planning process so smooth!
