Locally owned and operated in Keystone Heights, FL, Johnny's BBQ has been an icon in the community since they first opened their doors in 1988. What started out as a quaint, 15-table restaurant has since grown to be the most iconic & loved restaurant in town - serving over a million pounds of BBQ since they've been in business.Johnny's has served as a Partner in Education with Clay County Schools, been a Super Chief Sponsor for Keystone Heights High School football team, a Charter Member of the Lake Regions Kiwanis Club & has been an active member in many of the lake area ministries.

I like the family atmosphere at Johnny's! It can get a bit loud, though. I also love their ranch! They make it every morning! If you like garlic parmesan and shrimp then you should try their garlic parmesan shrimp! It is SO good! I usually get food to go but recently I dined in and our waitress was fantastic! She was friendly and always around if we needed something.

The waitress Andrea, was attentive, friendly, very good service, she encouraged our next visit! My husband enjoyed hot dogs&beans /Cole Slaw with Collard Greens, I had Fried Shrimp /French fries/Lima beans everything was good. Most definitely we'll be back to have something else on the menu. Absolutely wonderful food! The pork nachos were incredibly tasty! They make their own sauces and ranch dressing. The brisket plate was fall juicy and apart good! The to-go cups of sweet tea are the biggest I've ever encountered! Definitely worth a visit! Michelle was our server and she was attentive, kind and very thorough in her job!

Went for early dinner. Started with the pulled pork nachos loved them! The platters were great large portions decent flavor. Did not know had to ask to get the other flavors of BBQ sauce. The server was awesome Pam did a wonderful job very attentive. Over all fair price, decent food, and great service.

We had a great meal at Johnny's. Our server Amanda was prompt and courteous. Food came out fast, and was hot and delicious. Only minor thing to note is both of us got a slice of garlic toast with a quarter dollar sized void in it along with several smaller voids. Since we each got the same defects, one might conclude this is their standard. It would not disuade me from coming again, but I will likely say something if served toast with large holes again. Overall a great experience, and I'm certain they would have corrected our toasts if we had given them the chance.
