Great Jewish Italian style Deli. They have been in Mt. Laurel forever when all others are gone

Eh. Its better then no deli at all but my pastrami sandwich grilled was sloppy messy and nothing to write home about -- i give this a been there done that not again

Great breakfast today. Bagel w/kippered salmon, chive cream cheese, tomato, onion, red pepper, olives, etc. Omelette w/spinach, feta, red pepper. Chocolate chip pancakes w/2 eggs over easy. Everything was excellent including the coffee and our server with 20 years experience at F & M. A real winner.

After reading about his place and their sandwiches, decided to stop by and check it out! It did not disappoint. The Grilled Pastrami Special was amazing! Def must visit! Next will be the Brisket on a Kaiser with melted mustard!

Best chicken pot pie ever and wonderful service! Place was crowded for deli and everyone was acknowledged and taken care of.

I was in the general areas so I Yelp-ed a deli and found myself here. The staff was incredibly polite and friendly. I was the only person in the restaurant and the woman helping me reminded me of my grandmother. I ordered a sandwich and drink to go (see photos). The sandwich was very average. I almost think they cut the meat too thinly, creating like a paste in my mouth as I ate it. I'd give them another chance with a different sandwich type.

The food is great. I had pastrami hash and eggs. It was wonderful! Service was really nice

We typically pick up to go but went in this morning and sat down to eat breakfast. So glad we did! We weren't sure where to go as we were out running errands and F&M beat a few other options in the area. We were the only ones in their dining area but the food came out pining hot, portions were great and the food was freshly made according to our preferences.

The service was great also! We ordered the 2 eggs, sunny side up with a side of home fries; one order with onions and peppers and the other with their corned beef hash. Delicious! We will definitely be back to dine in again!

I stopped here today to get some Challah bread for Christmas Day French toast and while there my mom and I also got sandwiches for lunch. The food is AMAZING! I can't believe I grew up here and had never been before! We got Turkey, egg salad, and a big deli pickle!

Not sure why this place is holding at 3 stars. Back in town for the Holiday and we returned to F&M for our go to place for lunch. It was after lunch so the room was empty, quickly greeted and ordered lunch. Since we can't decide we opt to spilt and Italian Hoagie (not sub) and a Cheesesteak with peppers and onions. Always loved the pickle plate offered while waiting.

Final thoughts Menu- lots of choices but stuck with the classics Food quality- sandwiches were large and loaded, rolls were great Price -$8.95-10.00 for a great sandwich is average or a tad below these days Service- our waitress was friendly and easy to talk to, , came back to too off drinks and check in. Atmosphere- casual, clean dining room.

Quiet place to enjoy a meal with a friend especially during the week. Very good corned beef specials. Pleasant staff. Enjoyable!

Classic New York style deli everything we ordered was good was the first visit. waitress who was busy and friendly was very attentive. Full page of daily specials. Lots of baked goodies in the front didn't get a chance to try.

Fatty corned beef. I think the Potato kinish was smothered in butter or Mayo on top. Not friendly. Charged $1.00 for a tiny cup of cole slaw. Only Kibbitz Room from now on!

Way overpriced, $16 for a turkey sandwich, chips, and a small Snapple. Service was slow, not very friendly. Won't be going back.

Aweful service. The woman who worked at the counter sat on my food- yes sat on my food- then attempted to serve it me. Outrageous. Waitress ignores customers. I'll never return.

Haven't been there in awhile but I will say that it is a great deli. Even the pickles are delicious.

Been Coming here since 1997, Awesome place with Gr8 people! Food is Very good, especially Turkey & Swiss Sub, & Italian sub! Homemade items R Awesome!

Came here during brunch hour on Thursday--the place was completely empty (maybe in part because of COVID). But in the entire restaurant there was just myself, my dad, and the 10-or-so employees. Food--the most important part--was okay at best. I got the Monte Cristo Special which had ham and (dry) turkey, Swiss cheese, pineapple, and powered sugared French toast. An interesting combination that was tasty, but could have been better/fresher. Also, I don't think they are serving the complimentary pickles anymore. Bummer. But that's okay, I can get a pack from the next door Wawa.

I was in search of a mushroom melt. F&M came up on my google search and were worth the try! A pleasant lady greeted me and collaborated with me to create the divine goodness that wasn't even on the menu. When I took the first bite it was a glorious cheesy melted heaven. That let me know the cook was no ordinary chef, he or she must've made it with love. F&M is doing something right over in Mt. Laurel. I will definitely be back for more!

The place is legit. We love their fresh bagels and rye bread. Great breakfast sandwiches. And this Reuben was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had

This place is awesome. I get a dozen bagels every Sunday and they're the best. Homemade cream cheese is great, too - and if you're in the mood for a Reuben, look no further! Also the staff is great - the owner and her team are super friendly and personable.

Be very careful with ordering. We could not believe on pick up what are bill was. Nearly $400 for seven people.!And on top of it the food was all very fair quality. Attempts by my family to have some compensation fell on deaf ears. Please consider prior to placing a catering order.

I ordered through Door Dash, I was alittle hesitate to order I'm very particular about sandwiches but I haven't been able to get to the Kibitz room or 4the street deli in a while so I went all in and ordered the Corned Beef and Pastrami combo. It was Delicious and tender and definitely oversized.for the price it's worth it. I will Definitely be going here and also ordering again. Great Job!

Went in the other day. All I wanted was one pound of chicken salad. The person behind the counter gave me an attitude but begrudgedly gave it to me. Worst chicken salad I ever had. Don't waste your money, people who work there are not customer service friendly. Won't be back, to many other deli's to chose from.

COVID19 Quarantine Review (Pick Up); After driving by F & M countless times and never having tried it, I decided to place a lunch take out order. Ordering is easy, their large menu is found online - pick up orders can be phoned in, while delivery orders can be done through a 3rd party app like doordash. Currently, a mask is required to enter for pick up orders.

They did have glass displays full of food, so I assume you could come pick up food without a pre-order. I opted for the Chicken Cheese Steak. It was served on a large hoagie roll with a small pickle on the side. The sandwich was delicious. I also ordered a side of sweet potato fires. They were cut thinly with a coating ontop. They were very sweet.

I live in New York City and have been to plenty of old, famous delis; Katz's, Carnegie Deli, and Harold's in Edison, just to name a few. F & M doesn't hold a candle to those. My mom has gotten various food for my entire life from F & M. First and foremost, the food is extremely overpriced, on par with what I pay in New York City. A hot, fresh, in-house aged and spiced Pastrami on fresh rye at Katz's Deli is around the price of what you pay at F&M.

The problem is that F&M gets their meat from a mass producer of meat and it sits in a case, cold, until you buy it and they slice it thin. Where F & M fails is that the ingredients are just regular, run of the mill packaged deli meat. Nothing fresh. On a trip in December 2019, food in the case was spotted with mold on it. There is a leak from the condenser in the case that leaks water into the case. Flies are flying all around.

I have worked in a deli and saw the signs of food (various salads) not getting much turn over. The service was not much better. Slow, disorganized, and not too friendly. Overall, I would avoid. The fact that it is old and been around doesn't mean much. It is expensive and unclean and whoever manages the place is ok with just getting by. Just look at the tables and chairs in the place if you need further proof.

I know there is history here as a mainstay in the community that goes years and years back. I just wonder which of those years they decided to stop updating. And cleaning. I wonder how they pass health inspections. It is cluttered, and the deli case is haphazard and not fresh. While waiting for food that had been phoned in, I smelled smoke, and asked about it.

One of the management routinely smokes in the restaurant. Candy near the register is laden with grime, so much so that the wrappers were coming open on the sides. I pointed it out, and the smoker told me that people probably opened them! I don't mean any harm to a family business that has been a community staple for so long. I know many people probably enjoy coming here; it just won't be me.

Can't wait to go back! Old-school, no-frills Jewish deli with all of your favorite dishes: lox, bagels, white fish, carp, sable, challah French toast. All freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. Career waitresses that greet and serve you with warmth and humor. Like being in Bubby's kitchen.

This review is dedicated to F&M's delicious whitefish salad. My guy and I enjoyed their "mini-brunch" which comes with a choice of 2 fish. We chose the Nova and whitefish salad. Let's just say on our way out, we ordered a full pound of whitefish to go. By far the best we've had in the area. Chunky and absolutely delicious. The staff were all incredibly nice and helpful as well. We'll definitely be back!

Stopped in for a Father's Day breakfast and so happy we did! The atomosphere is very friendly and comfortable. The decor is old school. This is a classic Jewish deli with a fantastic menu both at the table and at the deli counter. The wait staff at the tables and behind the counter are friendly, providing service with a smile. Our breakfasts were not only the best we've had in a long while but the portions are large enough to either be full up or taking some home.

There is plenty of free parking. The parking lot and the restaurant is handicap friendly. The his and her bathrooms are spotless clean (as is the entire establishment). High chairs are available. Waited close to an hour for order. Bummer but ok. But here is why I am writing. The girls started to eat their salad and chicken sandwich. My daughter calls me over and says look this is not what I ordered. Waitress comes over and says sorry those are wrong and took them away. I followed her, to say we had to leave and cancel the order. I then saw the food that she brought back to out to another table.

I walked over to that table and told them that they were eating after our kids. Their girls then called to their parents and said mom this was the food that those other girls were eating. Everyone got up and walked out mortified. The owner lady kept saying it was new until I told her I walked back w food. Eat at your own risk.

Great place to get deli sandwiches. Today I ordered 5J-the oversized pastrami and corned beef served with coleslaw and the 2J-corned beef and roast beef served with coleslaw sandwiches which were made very well. The only thing missing was some Russian dressing. Not only can you take out they have a dining room where they serve an array of items. They even have a breakfast menu. I will definitely become a regular here! Perhaps I'll try their brunch for two. This pic is of 1/2 of the 5J minus the coleslaw and pickle. I could not wait dig in.

Hands down the best Rueben I've ever had. The meat is chopped and so tender. It's mixed with the perfect amount of sauerkraut and Russian dressing. The rye bread is perfectly toasted and grilled. Soooooo good. It came with a side of macaroni salad which was good, different than I've ever had but pretty good. It was shell pasta and plenty of chopped veggies in it that got stuck in the shells to make it pretty easy to eat and get some of everything in each bite.

My friend had the potato salad and it was just okay. It was kinda bland and the "dressing" was runny like it didn't belong on potato salad. Oh and if your a pickle freak like me, you'll love this place! Free HUGE bowl of assorted pickled tomatoes and homemade pickles. So good! Will defiantly be back again. And again. And even though a lot of the stuff on the menu sounds good I'll probably have that Ruben every time lol.
