I wish I could give PC Catering a better review but the unprofessional behavior of Kevin and Nancy for months and even a week before my wedding caused so much undue stress that one star is the most I can give. The actual service, food, and attentive staff at my wedding were fantastic. I can't say enough good things about the staff working the event.

But with all the poor and rude communication with Nancy and Kevin leading up to my wedding I had no idea if PC Catering would even show up and how they'd treat me and my guests. A week before the wedding Kevin told me and my wedding planner that I wouldn't have enough food for my guests and then threatened to not work the event leaving me scrambling to find other options.

Later he recanted and said he never threatened to quit. It was a horrible and stressful experience for me and my fiance with only days until our wedding. They charged my credit card over $1200 without my authorization after I sent several emails to Nancy explicitly saying I would write a check. They didn't refund the money for over a week and lied and sent rude emails/texts when I asked why the money hadn't been refunded. Overall, the communication and professionalism were so poor that I can't recommend PC Catering.

The owner is quite friendly and the company has a wide variety of menu options and services at a reasonable price. My review is based strictly on my experience trying to book an event with a very unprofessional employee.

We absolutely loved working with PC events for our wedding and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality, dependable, and professional caterer! We received so much feedback from our guests raving about how delicious our food was at our event and we agree! Toni, Cameron, and Donna assisted with our reception and made our event flow so wonderfully!

They went above and beyond to make our night so relaxing, fun, and stress free. Kevin made our planning process so smooth and was responsive and thoughtful, respectfully listening to and creating the vision we had for our event. We are so grateful for all that he and his team did to make our event unforgettable!

We recently had our wedding catered by PC Catering and they did not disappoint. The staff and service was great and easy to work with from beginning to end of wedding planning. The food was great. They have many options to choose from. Would highly recommend them to cater a wedding/party.

2020 was a challenging year for many. Our family experienced the loss of my 18-year-old son during his first year in college. We were all devastated; as a result, I chose to try and bring joy to my husband, who was experiencing health challenges in addition to grieving. I had a bright idea to have a huge surprise party for my husband's birthday. I called PC Events to cater a last-minute surprise birthday breakfast.

With terse notice, the company created a fantastic breakfast buffet. The danish is the best I have EVER eaten. My guest all raved at the excellent taste and quality of the food. I look forward to future opportunities to use their service.

We are giving PC Events 2 stars because of the servers we worked with on the day of our wedding. They were great and so was the bartender. Outside of their services the company was very disappointing. The worst part of our experience was the communication. We have read many reviews and many people have had fantastic experiences but there were also people that had experiences similar to ours.

The management staff was not very good at communicating. Through the process they were not clear on what they provide and costs. At one point they lost our paperwork. Three weeks prior to the wedding we called Kevin who seemed frazzled and confused. They were unsure the date of our wedding and they had us resend the requests that we wanted. A couple days later we received a bill that was full of different costs.

When trying to discuss with Kevin and figure it out, we called the company where they tried to tell us we had the wrong number and Kevin was not there. The next day we called the same number ( which worked) and the basically told us we were stuck paying the new charges. On the day of the wedding, they caterers did not bring any water although we were charged $4.95 for person for non alcoholic beverages.

I was also made aware they did not bring enough linens or the cocktail table requested. As said earlier a very disappointing company outside of the staff they have working for them. I am not one to write reviews or complain, and I know others have had positive experiences with this company, but I felt it was important to share our experience.

We were very happy with our choice to use PC Events to cater our picnic. We had 70 people and chose a chicken and beef kabob menu. Kevin and his staff were very responsive and flexible in the planning stage and executed the plan to a tee. Cameron was our on-site attendant, and he was a real trouper getting things set up, as the parking lot was a long way from the shelter house.

Everything was excellent. The chicken was nicely flavored, and the beef was melt-in-your-mouth good. Everyone was very complimentary of the entire event. Plan to call them for our company Christmas party.

I recently used PC Catering for two events. Kevin and his crew did an excellent job. For both events, (a wedding rehearsal dinner and then a small wedding reception), the set up, presentation, promptness, and clean up made it so easy for me. But what was so helpful was the fact that Kevin helped me make selections from his menu, gave me great recommendations and adapted other food dishes to my preference.

Everyone complimented me on the food and several of the food items that I initially wasn't going to serve (but due to Kevin's recommendations), were huge hits! I will definitely use PC Catering again!

Worst experience with any vendor we had. Most stressful part of our wedding. First off, PC events is not at all transparent with their prices. We went with them because they gave us a large discount. Our wedding got rescheduled due to Covid and we actually thought we would save money because we had 25 less guests than we planned. When Kevin sent us our final invoice, it was 47% higher than what he originally quoted us.

We had to argue with him over email several emails. Once we finally got mean with him, he told us that he got my husband Tyler confused with another Tyler and lowered the price a little. Like anyone would believe that! We were so stressed and knew we couldn't get someone else so we agreed to pay it. We ended up going $1200 over budget. The food was good and the staff seemed to be nice to our guests but that was the only thing that was good.

The staff showed up 20 minutes late and caused total chaos before the guests arrived. They had the wrong sized linens for the tables. They had my mother in law completely stressed out because if it weren't for her, they probably wouldn't have had the linens on and the center pieces set in time. My husband had to keep coming out of the groomsmen room to make sure everything was going to be ready in time.

They tried to set up a table in the middle of the aisle before we had the ceremony in that aisle. The vault manager was yelling loudly at them before the wedding. He thought it was very unprofessional that they made my mom put the linens on. The Vault said they were going to remove the company from their preferred list if they didn't make it right. And of course, pc events never made it right.

We had difficulty finding a caterer while planning our wedding during the COVID-19 pandemic. We ultimately connected with PC Events Catering and were relieved that they were able to provide services on our wedding date even though we were booking only about six weeks out. We went with their Just You and I package and liked that we could choose two entree options in addition to special meals for our vegetarian guests.

PC Events did not do a good job communicating their minimums for the package (which they had flexed for COVID-19), and we still had to pay for 50 guests even though our final COVID guest count was reduced to 34. PC Events provided services smoothly on our wedding day, and the food was good, but not quite the quality we had hoped for at that price point. Unfortunately we were too busy to have any of the stuffed mushroom caps, but our guests loved them.

We had the best experience with Kevin and his staff! The food and service for my daughters wedding was top notch! Super easy to work with, great communication and budget friendly! We highly recommend PC Events Catering in Powell for any event! Thanks so much!

Pc events catering did a phenomenal job at our wedding during covid. They were very professional and thorough. Everything tasted great and I will always recommend them in the future. The owners kevin and Cat walked us through everything and their staff is great. And they even traveled very far to bring us everything and accommodated to our every need.

Wow! My wife and I were so happy we chose PC Events to cater our wedding last month! The entire staff worked so very hard and did a wonderful job! From the planning that took place months before, to the day of our wedding itself, Kevin and his employees took care of every detail we requested! We definitely felt like we got the most out of our money with PC Events.

They don't cut corners and really work to impress everyone at their events. The food was amazing! I'd pay top dollar to eat the same meal at a fancy restaurant. Kevin Porter was a pleasure as well. His love for Ohio State Football immediately bonded us. He might even love The Buckeyes even more than myself!

I highly recommend PC Events! In my opinion, they are the best caterer in Columbus Ohio with an outstanding menu selection! Friendly staff and delicious food! A+

I have very mixed feelings about the way my daughters wedding was catered. Communication was at best chaotic.not the stress that I wanted to see ONE Week before the wedding. The final count was given three weeks before and suddenly everything became confusing. Extra charges for tax not previously quoted, the amount of time required for the wedding suddenly required time and a half for six staff to return after midnight to the office (after the reception). Ironically this must be paid in advance so imagine my dismay when only TWO waitresses remained at 10 :30 pm and the others had left earlier than paid.

Will they refund the extra overtime at $33 per hour times 4 persons. Staff were friendly, thorough and neat. They arrived slightly late but it was not an issue. The beef tips were excellent, the chicken Florentine was a disappointment. Green beans were good but not as ordered. Average quality of dinner rolls. Usually he top of wedding cake is saved for the 1st anniversary but it was served.

So my single biggest issue was the ridiculous communication and billing issues that were not resolved until less than a week before the wedding. There were probably 4 phone callers and as many emails required at the last moment that had us worried if the caterer would do their job properly. questions on how many hors d'oeuvres and are the linens going to be available should not be something I should be concerned about 48 hours before the wedding.

We hired PC Events catering for my sons college graduation party in May 2018 and my other sons reception. It was super easy working with them on desired menu items and the food was very affordable and delicious! They arrived on time and the entire staff made the process super easy. I had not one worry. Would definitely work with them again. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

PC Events catered our small wedding. The food was excellent and received many compliments from our guests. We had a buffet, and did not use a server or rent linens/utensils/etc, but I would use them again as the price was fair and the food was great.

If I could give 0 stars I could. Awful experience. They charm you well with the first apointment, giving you good food and good promises. However at the wedding they were hours late, the food we got was awful and nothing close to as good as our initial meeting with them, we paid for a butcher station that wasn't used, wrong sauces used, as well as being completely rude.

Despite being late and not giving us the food we were promised, they only offered a refund of $50, which was miniscule to what we paid in total. Not to mention 3 different wedding planners we met after our wedding said "We all know to avoid PC Events" so its a shame we didnt hire a planner. Obsurd company and incompetent managers. Save your wedding and go someplace else for catering.

We have used PC Events for our corporate events. The owner and staff are friendly and professional, a real pleasure to work with. At our Christmas event, the staff arrived on time, set up the food, served, packaged the leftovers and tore down the buffet. They were happy and jovial through the entire process. The food is delicious, obviously prepared with a passion for the craft. Yesterday, we had them cater a breakfast for the staff, and, as usual they were prompt, friendly and professional. Again, the food and service were wonderful, and the leftovers were gone by the end of the day. We will be using them again in the future.

I have used PC Events for 3 weddings, 4 rehearsal dinners, and numerous company meeting barbecues. Kevin and his staff treated each event as if it was a special occasion. The food is wonderful, especially the barbecued ribs. They were falling off the bone they were so tender. The staff that cooks and serves at the events are more than accommodating, and go out of their way to help you.

They even bussed tables while we were all eating. I cannot say enough nice things about this company. If you want to be treated like you are special, call them. I am calling today to set up another event. Sandi - Upper Arlington, Ohio

I plan corporate events for company picnics. We booked PC to provide food, tents, tables, linens, and decorations for the tables. The pricing is comparable to competitors in the area. We ordered kabobs for our picnic with the typical outdoor picnic fare and the food received rave reviews from guests. The staff was friendly, wore nice uniforms, and was on time.

The tents we rented were the best we ever had for our picnic versus those from other companies. The centerpieces were cute and theme appropriate. The linens were clean and nicely setup as were the tables and chairs. The only downside was one of their workers (serving food) told one of our guests she could not eat food from the kid's table. It really upset the guest she couldn't eat food we had paid for.

The chef apologized but it did little to make the guest happy as she had already eaten food she didn't enjoy. We also did not receive any leftovers as we have with other companies (whatever food we ordered/paid for they cooked and served or gave to us in leftover bins.) The ground near the food lines was littered with food after they left and I was disappointed they just left large amounts of food there after clean up.

They also ran out of ketchup early at our picnic and weren't bothered by this and did not go buy any for the hot dogs and hamburgers they were serving. I would recommend PC as the quality of the products were good but the customer service is not stellar.

PC Events did a great job with our reception. They went out of there way to make sure everyone was happy and even helped with assistance with my grandma and mother whom has been ill. They even provided extra food since we didn't know our guest count since we lost our response sheet 2 weeks before. I would highly recommend them. The owner is very friendly and knows how to deal with Weddings. The food was great and the service was awesome. Great job PC Events Catering Company!!
