The Mesenburg family is based out of Huron and has been catering from Cleveland to Toledo, and the communities in between for more than 35 years. We would be honored to serve you! In years past, wedding catering was a luxury few could afford. Today, however, it is considered a necessity and provides the event with the fondest, most lasting memory. Since 1984 Mesenburg Creative Catering has been bringing off-premise catering to halls, churches, homes, and tents in the greater Erie, Huron, Ottawa, and Lorain counties.

Mesenburg Creative Catering is the largest family owned and operated catering service in the Sandusky area with over 30 years of food service. Creative catering is our forte. All menu selections are made with the freshest ingredients available. We always go above and beyond to make your event special.
Hall Pricing includes Room Setup, Silverware, China, Linens, Cake Cutting, Clean Up & Bartending. All Dinners come with served salad, rolls & butter, potato, rice or pasta and fresh vegetables. Combo plates with a meat and seafood or meat and chicken combination are a nice way to give your guests a choice.
Our catering hall provides a full service solution for your special event at our own banquet hall facility, Mesenburg Plaza Place. This beautiful hall provides accommodations for as few as 75, and as many as 650 guests with the ability to split the hall into two or three private rooms for smaller groups.

ABOVE and BEYOND! I have no idea where to start, when you go to a wedding reception besides the wedding itself everyone remembers the food. I can promise that if you go with Mesenburg Catering people will be talking about your AMAZING food for years to come. We had our wedding reception catered this weekend by Mesenburg. We went with the Luau Menu with Smoked Salmon, added mac & cheese and salad.
It was hands down the best smoked salmon ever, the whole hog presentation was outstanding. HOT! FRESH and AMAZING food. Now lets talk about their staff and crew. They are top notch! We went with a buffet style self serving line and they had people their to serve the hog. They jumped in and walked next to my husband and I to serve us and made our plates for us.
They checked on everyone at the Bridal table, they went above and beyond our expectations of service. They even cleaned up everything, packed up leftovers for us. ANY event we needed catered big or small they will have our business time and time again. THANK YOU Rick and crew for an amazing reception dinner! Brad and Tammy Brown

We went with Mesenburg for our wedding reception space/catering and they did a phenomenal job! Rick and his team were kind, professional, and attentive before, during, and after the reception. They were very flexible with us since we were planning a wedding out of state and gave us extra time to set-up for our event. The food was delicious and everyone loved it!
They had recently renovated the space before our reception and it was beautiful! Mesenburg's is a wonderful place to have your wedding and we would highly recommend it to anyone!

We were at a wedding in Oberlin just last night and Mesenburg provided the catering. I have been to a lot of weddings in the past few years and have had mediocre food. Not this time. Mesenburg did an outstanding job with their meticulous service and truly delicious food. Smoked beef brisket.out of this world good! Vegetarian lasagna that was creamy and flavorful and downright wonderful. Potatoes, asparagus and more, cooked perfectly, served hot, and with amazing flavor. If you need a good caterer who prepares quality food and offers excellent service, look no further.
