It was awesome! I had Broccoli and Raisin salad, fresh fruit salad, pita bread slices and chicken salad. I cleaned everything off my plate. Got Oatmeal cookies with cream inside. It was the best ever! Bought Pot Roast with all the vegetables in an 8" x 6" foil pan ready for tonight to eat or freeze. I also got Lasagna with marinana sauce frozen and I put it back in the freezer for me to eat another day.
They also have a bakery inside the business. Everything I ate was wonderful! I will show you pictures of Lasagna and pot roast and veggies. I put my pans inside of food saver compactor bags before I put mine in the freezer, mainly because I have the machine to do it with.

I was in town for a family funeral and wanted to order food for a luncheon after the service. I ordered a wide variety of the trays (Company Casserole, Tetrazzini, Vegetarian Lasagna, Chicken and Wild Rice, apple cake, cookies, bars, etc). The food was wonderful, the delivery right on time and they could not have been better to deal with. Supporting small local business is so important too! I cannot recommend highly enough!

This is by far the best take-out in the entire town, which should be saying a lot but isn't. Yes, i know I'm cruel to the core. For the most part they have soups, sandwiches and some desserts. They have a few tables to sit at and it's a pleasant atmosphere inside. Like many businesses in Salisbury they roll up the side walk promptly at 6 so be sure to get there with enough time to get your goods if your doing take-out. Again, this is the best qourmet-esque type of food in the area and they have something for just about every palate.
I do wish they'd do more specials and switch things up a bit but I think the regulars like counting on L A Murph's having what they like when they walk in. It's a traditional area. and that's not changing anytime too soon :.

LA Murph's did not give me what I ordered for a work event. Food was low quality, and overpriced for the quantity and quality. The owner refused to listen and did not offer any type of refund. There are so many more caterers in the Salisbury area that have better food and service. Would not recommend at all.

LA Murph's. I love it. They have some of the yummiest pastries in Salisbury. The cream stuffed oatmeal cookies rock and I would have never thought of peanut butter cookies stuffed with peanut butter but they were excellent as well. I had to try the brownies because they are my favorite and they were pretty stellar. I went there on the recommendation of my boss who suggested the Cashew Chicken salad with their homemade honey mustard dressing.
The chicken was served cold. I would have preferred it was heated but it was good all the same and for $7.00 you get a brownie and a drink so count me in. This is by no means a very large place, they have bistro outdoor tables on the inside but what I think is cool is they serve a special everyday like Pot Roast or Meat Loaf and they have a drive through.
They have family portions so if you find yourself in need of a quick homemade meal it is ideal. If you call ahead they will have your lunch and dinner for the family ready so you never need to get out of the car. Cool! The women in the place are all fabulous and they seemed genuinely happy to serve you. Refreshing!
