Really just not good bbq, you can get way more for the same price somewhere else. not worth it

I'm done with this Buddy's. I used to go there often.no more. The last few times they can not get an order straight. This last time I ordered baked beans, when checking the order it had green beans. The cashier had keyed in the wrong thing. When I went to eat my lemon pie later, the width of it was less than a plastic fork - see photo. That was the straw that did it. I will find some where else for bar b que.

Sorry to have bothered you folks! Stopped, asked a few questions, got the bored "why are you bothering me" eye roll. And then didn't get the right food. Sigh. Enough of trying to support the locals. Oh yeah, and it tastes bad too.

This crew is the sharpest crew of any of the Knoxville Metro Buddy's. I added some oft overlooked complexities to the order. When received, I got exactly what I requested. Stellar. Thank you all.

Clean, fast, efficient and friendly. The food was good as usual but the staff is really doing a spectacular job here.

First time eating here. Food was Delicious! Loved their hot bbq sauce! My son demolished the chili cheese fries! We ate every bite! Highly recommended! PS.the service was excellent!

Really enjoyed our lunch today. Ate here for the first time and the experience exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious and the person who helped us was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be repeat customers!

Got take out for dinner. The pork sandwich was good, chili dog ok. I had the combo chicken, pork, ribs. Ribs tasted good but not much meat, pork was excellent and chicken was disappointing. The skin was like leather with very little meat ( I did ask for dark meat) Cole slaw fresh. We did drive home (40 minutes) so it may have been better if we ate there. All in all, the food was good not great. Service was fine.

The best BBQ in Chattanooga. Staff and service is always great. Food is always hot and fresh. The restaurant is always spotless. Ice cream is 59 cents daily from 2 to 5 pm. Hot fudge cake $1 on wednesday.

I'm from Cleveland Tn and I've eaten here twice on my travels to Harriman and Kingston. Always a Delicious meal and the staff are very polite and accommodating to their customers. Their sliced Hot Pickles are the kicker to any lunch or dinner menu items. You really have to try them

Something was left out of my order and I drove 15 minutes back to get it after working a 13 hour shift. Asked if there was anything they could do for the inconvenience making me drive 30 minutes total out of my way and then waiting in line again. The guy at the window kindly said no and I said that was fine. No problem. But as I was leaving the skinny long hair guy in the back said yea on the side right?!

Then that's all. And threw his arms up looking like he was flipping me off as I drove away. Told all my friends and family about this. And in a small town like this. With knowing everyone. That's probably a big chunk of their business gone now. The Kid was just childish

Good pork and chicken. Ok, roast beef (not very close to the brisket I'm used to) with good flavor. Artificially sweetened lemonade -blech.

Amanda has been at the microphone and the drive-through window the last few times we have visited Buddy's BBQ in Kingston, TN. She is always so pleasant and our order is always correct!

Love the hushpuppies and I got the turkey sandwich that had a very Smokey taste. My husband got ribs and the half chicken which were good too. The staff was very nice and friendly. 5 stars!

It was just okay. I went through the drive through and the service was good and the order was correct but regarding the Barbecue and sides, they were nothing special.

Ordered: Brisket Baked potato w/sauce and meat on side, 8 naked wings with mild sauce on the side, and pulled pork dinner with extra hush puppies and fries. Also sauce on the side. Waited approximately 20 minutes at the drive thru window. There was literally a car fire on Hixson Pike that we watched the fire department put out, load car on flatbed, and traffic resumed before we got our order.

The order was correct, with the one exception that there were only two small cups of sauce for the whole order. Service wasn't only slow but was less than stellar. The woman working the drive thru window handed us our food without a single word, leaving us to wonder if there was more to come or if everything was in the bag. As far as the quality of food, the pork was flavorless and the hush puppies were dense, dry, and flavorless.

The sauce that we were given tasted like thin ketchup. The consistency of a vinegar based sauce without that flavor. My wife reports that the brisket had decent flavor but was dry and sliced super thin. Overall, the experience left us not willing to come back. Fortunately there are plenty of other BBQ places to choose from.

When this place first opened the food was great and the service was great. My husband and I ate there at least twice a month. We went today for the fist time this month and the service was very slow. The food was still good. They did seem to be catering to the people in the drive thru more than the people dining in. It was not that busy. There were five couples while we were eating. I guess the new is worn off but I hope this isn't going to be the new normal as far as service goes.

The service and hospitality were wonderful. The flavor of the smoked meat was excellent, but the brisket was not cut properly, it was sliced with the grain and not against the grain which made it tougher than it should have been. Wing dry rub was slightly too salty, but otherwise flavor very good. Would definitely return on a trip back through East Tennessee.

I came to enjoy lunch with my brother. We ordered the ribs with baked beans and corn on the cob. The beans were refrigerator cold. I told the manager and she said, 'You let them sit and get cold. I told her they came cold. She was disrespectful and was busy worrying about the drive-thru and customers were standing at the front of the store waiting on food.

The steam table h not been turned on. The ribs were visibly over cooked and the ends were charred. i was sick all afternoon! The only highlight of our visit was an employee named Chip who was very apologetic and tried to make things right.

Good pulled pork, beans and slaw. Great service. Very friendly staff checked if we had everything we needed.

We stopped here as we were driving by. Liyah helped us a lot. Food was very good and they were spotless inside. Dinning area was very clean. We had a wonderful time here.

Drive thru not capable of getting order correct. Check your order BEFORE you leave. Don't drive 20 miles home before checking, like we did.

Buddy's BBQ in East Tennessee is always delicious! Located all around East TN, they are a good travel food stop. BBQ is good- mild or hot. Brisket, pulled pork, chicken, turkey, ribs, ham are all available. Lots of sides to choose from as well as yummy desserts. Homemade ice tea & sodas. Drive through & dine in open.

Love the big y'all serve. Service could use some help, but I'll be a customer for the foreseeable future! Just work in on customer service and y'all will soar!

The food was good for a fast food bbq restaurant. I placed my order through google and it was somehow changed prior to making it to the restaurant. However the GM of the place was awesome. It ended up not even being the restaurants fault. But she took care of me anyway. Service is always a plus in my book and they went above and beyond. We I'll certainly reward them with our business again!

My fiance and i came here after receiving an ad in the mail just for the hot fudge cake but it smelled so good we decided to stay and do dinner. i'm so glad we did! i had a pulled pork sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. the bun was toasted perfectly and the bbq sauce was INCREDIBLE. the hushpuppies were better than most bbq places i've been to and the fries were good as well. the hot fudge cake was super yummy. they were extremely busy when we walked in and the staff worked hard to get the line down and keep the customers happy. aaliyah helped us out basically the entire night and she was just absolutely wonderful. super pleasant and kind and offered to help us out with everything-including things that aren't her job- and was super apologetic about the wait and just delightful. this will definitely be added to our list of date night spots!

This was the first and last time I have been here. I ordered a BBQ Pork potato. The potato was burnt on the outside and the inside was also a little burnt down in it. It was so hard and very dry. Also tried a BBQ pork sandwich. It wasn't any better. The bun felt like it had been microwaved. The whole sandwich was hard. Not impressed with this place at all! As I said first and last time I will come here! Never going to waste my money on this crap again!

Drive-thru Passing by on I-40 so we stopped in. The fries were not eatable. BBQ was ok. Just ok. Being a bbq place, you would think the bbq would have more flavor. Definitely ask for more sauce since it comes with very little on the sandwich. The beans were ok. The ice cream was GOOD! but. no spoon for the beans or I t was quick & the service was friendly.

Located close off the exit. We got the Pork Dinner on a bun w/ green beans, corn, and fries. Very good. BBQ sauce was delicious wish there was more on the sandwich. They had a hot and mild sauce on the table with plenty of napkins. Service was quick and friendly.
