New Englander - Ridgewood Room: The New Englander, also known as the Ridgewood Room, captures beauty, elegance, and style. With its thirty-two foot high Cathedral ceilings and three spectacular crystal ballroom chandeliers, it provides the perfect setting for any special event. Most commonly used for corporate meetings, parties, and wedding receptions.
Our dining room offers a unique atmosphere for your dining experience. The decor featured around our dining room combines old and new, as many pieces were adopted from older buildings around New Castle! In order to provide the best service for your event, we are happy to work with you to create a Limited Menu that will please you and your guests. Please call our office to find out more information!
We welcome the CR Loft, a new addition to our New Englander family of event spaces, in 2017! Your guests will enjoy having a bird's-eye view into our newly built brewery. Additionally, the CR Loft has its own built in bar and industrial feel that immerses your guests into the full experience of the CR Brewery.
The Crane Room Catering is the exclusive caterer for the New Englander Banquet Complex, which includes our in-house restaurant, The Crane Room Grille, and our new brewery, CR Brewing Company. Our company hosted an event here and the venue was excellent. The venue catered and the food was very good and fresh. The staff was helpful and went out of their way to help. The venue is beautiful and has other options besides this room. They also have a brewery and restaurant. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a personal or business event.

This place is home to a holiday Chow Chow that benefits Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, hosted by Howard Hanna office of New Castle. I only ever get to visit once a year, but I am always impressed by the hospitality and generous help of the staff that make this a huge fundraiser for the patients and families of Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
There is more than enough parking or guests, and the interior is able to host the hundreds of people that come through to celebrate all the good things a community can do to help others in need. I highly recommend this place for anybody that's looking for renting a locally owned, friendly business for a family gathering or community event.
