Chicken Galore

Ordered online and lucked out because I ordered at 7:59pm on a Sunday night when they close at 8pm. I spoke to the manager and he accommodated my order. Good service!

No. Just. No. If you value your life and health and you still order food from here. Man. Standards are at the bottom of the barrel for you. You can't get any lower.

How do I get in touch with the owner? I was berated over a late order and had his manager threaten to call the police on me for theft of service if I refused delivery. Order was almost 2 hours late with no courtesy called from the establishment on the delay. We all had to get up early for baseball games in the am. I was shocked that he said that so I called my local department to confirm that was not the case.

I have the exchange recorded and I'd like to share it with him. Hopefully this person cares about the reputation of his business. I've been a loyal customer for a decade. My food was never delivered. If this company charges my card without delivering my order I will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law. Years if goodwill gone in minutes. I'll make sure to post about this experience anywhere I can.

I'd love to figure out how I can share my recorded exchange with anyone. My family will never go back. UPDATE: I've emailed the company and no one has responded. Take your hard earned money elsewhere.

Best chicken I've had, ribs were great too! Service speed is definitely fair and fair prices.

So I was out looking for chicken and I stopped in here not knowing what to expect when I ordered my 10-piece Roasted Chicken (which I thought was great) I didn't know what to expect simply because I had to wait 20 minutes because he clearly stated WE COOK THE CHICKEN FRESH as I left the store the only thought that crossed my mind is how are you going to roast a chicken even in pieces fresh in 20 minutes YOU'RE NOT.however I gave him the benefit of the doubt.

Simply because when I walked in everybody was standing around so I thought maybe they do cook it fresh, so on the way home I smell the chicken and it smelled absolutely fantastic but when I got it home and I ate it I was not surprised at how disappointed I was, okay well maybe a little bit. But the chicken was DRY AS A BONE there is no way possible that he cooked this chicken fresh, that just didn't happen, I also got potato salad which I thought tasted awful because it was sweet. Needless to say the staff was great building was run down of course would I return here? maybe not. if I was out in the area quite possibly so but I would not make an effort to come here like I did today. it's just not worth my time or my money on top of the fact that an 8 piece chicken is literally one chicken they sell it for $18.89 I'm sorry but what a rip off.

I live in Florida we get on entire whole chicken for $6 and a 10-piece chicken is 1 1/4 chickens for $23.69.why is a chicken so expensive here in New Jersey I'll never understand.

My family and I have always been fans of chicken galore and often get the wings. After not having them in a while we decided on some wings tonight. I called and placed my order and was quoted a price. 2 minutes later they call back asking about the order as if unsure. We decided to reduce the amount of wings by 12 pcs and we were shocked to see that meant $20 less on the total.

We go to pick up and end up paying a completely different price than either of the 2 quoted totals over the phone but we just wanted to leave with the snow. Got home and took a bite of wings and actually spit it out. These wings are not what we are used to from here at all. These taste like cardboard there is no flavor at all. They didn't include any hot sauce either so we can't even mask the chicken with that. Terrible experience overall tonight.

I have been a local resident and ordering from them for 25 years now. I can't count the amount of times we've ordered from them. We've had them cater birthday parties as well. Never any complaints from the guests. We love the skinless fried chicken, baby back ribs, varying temperatures of buffalo wings and salads.

I called to order chicken the woman who answered the was very rude she acted like she didn't want my business she got frustrated because my phone number didn't come up & she had to do a little work - she ignored everything I said there are plenty of good chicken spots I don't need to buy here

I love their chicken. I have been a customer for many many years since the dad was in the shop. I NEVER HAD A COMPLAINT! I was always treated with nothing but respect and I am always called by my name. Thats a personal touch. the food is always delicious. I will continue to order from here! Actually I'm waiting for my order to be delivered as I'm doing this review! I don't go anywhere else for my chicken!

My 1st experience with buying food here. The chicken was amazing! Huge healthy portion size of food. I am disappointed in the Colossal size shrimps. My wife said the ribs weren't seasoned through. Just sauced up on the outside. The stuffed potato skins were Awesome! So filling! The cheese, broccoli, & bacon were so good. The zucchini sticks were delicious as well!

Got the southern fried, teriyaki, and spicy bbq wings from here to share with some friends and they were pretty good! Some of us preferred the spicy bbq while others preferred the teriyaki, depends on your taste. The southern fried had a nice crispy skin but we wished it had a bit more flavor - maybe more seasoning could be added to the breading? The 3 boxes of wings we got were a good amount to share amongst 5 people - there were supposed to be 18 wings per box but they threw in some extra which we appreciated! There are lots of good fried chicken places in the area that we like to alternate between and this will likely enter our rotation now after trying it

Absolutely horrible! So friggen cheap when it comes to sauces. Like how are people suppose to eat chicken tenders with 1oz sauce! The place is absolutely filthy don't understand how they are still open with dirty employees never see anyone wash there hands or change there gloves! Stop being so damn cheap with sauces it's disgusting already Extortionist. Your sauces aren't gods creation stop being cheap

From the reviews I'm honestly shocked, I thought it would be good but it was not. I didn't think anything of it when I heard bickering behind the counter.but should have went with my instinct. We ordered fish and chips, Philly cheese steak, stuffed shrimp, these items were not good at all.the cornbread had a bad smoke taste. they warmed up the biscuit in the microwave, it taste chewy. the corn on the cob taste like the plastic and butter it was sitting in, and the fries were cold.

First time here had great fried chicken. Moist, crispy just excellent. I tried the corn bites nice and crispy but just a little to sweet for me. The mashed potatoes weren't to bad. I would definitely come again.

Love this place. Their chicken is so good. My mom insists we order anytime she comes to visit. Prices are fair too. I love the chicken fingers or their regular fried chicken. Only downside is mashed potatoes taste like they are out of a box. But everything else is so good and they are so nice that I'm not deducting any stars.

Chicken Galore is a Woodbridge staple! Seriously tasty fried chicken - definitely the best in town. The buffalo chicken tenders and regular chicken tenders are amazing too, we get them all the time with some corn bread. And like many others have said here the little corn nuggets are a MUST (really all the fried veggies are awesome)! I recommend ordering delivery if you're in range because they don't have a social distancing system in place for pickup orders.

Doesn't really look like much when you pass it, but it's hands down the best fried chicken you can get. Cooked to perfection! It's been a staple in Woodbridge as far back as I can remember. The owner is hard working and hands on, he remembers people easily, the rest of the staff are always smiling and courteous. I like their chicken of course and the regular fries with a Parker House roll.

Awful dirty place. Racist workers. I asked the cook to please change his gloves before touching my food because I saw him touching a number of things in the store. The refrigerator, stove and thermometer. He yelled at me in my face shooded me a way like I'm a dog. And threatened to call the police on me for NOTHING!

It was too rainy to leave the office so we utilized the online ordering system and ordered for a pretty large group deliver to the office. 5 stars for the simplicity in ordering. Only miss that is that we had to pay cash when the delivery person arrived - it worked out for us but may not be the case for everyone. Just something to remember. I'll give them that it was pouring rain and Thursday may be a busy delivery day but it took about an hour for the food to arrive and it was definitely all cold.

I am forgiving the coldness and the delivery delay and just focusing on the tasty foods here. I really enjoyed my buffalo chicken tossed salad - the chunks of breaded chicken were fresh and good sizes, the lettuce was chopped well and nice a crispy, and the tomatoes were also cut nicely. The value of the onion rings was a bonus - bag full of rings for $5!

They gave us condiments, forks and napkins as well. Can't complain! We'll be ordering from here again. Check them out for takeout and get a laugh at their uh. well endowed. chicken mascot.

Great wing spot in Woodbridge NJ, can't believe it took me so long to find a good naked hot wing. My wife and I like extra hot wings with no breading and they have the perfect ones. Scott and his staff are also very friendly and aware of doing a job for positive reviews. When I walked in they were actually talking about a good review they got and how excited they were.

The pulled pork lunch special was also really good too. The extra hot wings are excellent and we would like it even hotter next time! Overall we will definitely order from them again, good prices and great wings!

Chicken prepared any way you want it. Fried pieces, roasted with red potatoes, or chunks of meat and cheese loaded into a wrap and heated through. They also serve a lot of fried sides: zucchini, mushrooms, mac 'n cheese balls, etc. There's a bench inside and a little bit of outdoor seating, so plan on carrying out. I had the cordon blue wrap, and it was really good. Impressed they got the cheese just right inside the wrap: gooey and melting into the chicken bits.

Their fried chicken is unique and delicious. The chicken seems batter dipped and fried in a pressure cooker leaving a beautiful mahogany skin. The wings are also excellent, not crispy like the fried chicken more of a fall off the bone kind of approach. I enjoy spicy food and their "hottest" flavor wings do pack quite a kick.

Chicken Galore has pretty good chicken and good prices. The portions are great and the food is fresh. Sometimes takes a while to be delivered, but since the food is very good I can't really complain.

Really awesome fried chicken! I went here today and can't say enough good things on how juicy and flavourful their chicken is. I also tried their Mac and Cheese bites based on their recommendation, they were absolutely delicious, but nothing can touch their corn nuggets, they are absolutely to die for! Last but not least the crew on the front are all very curtious and do their utmost to insure that your order is correct and that you get all your needs met.

If you are looking for the best southern fried chicken and all around comfort food you can't go wrong with chicken galore. My only recommendation would be to call ahead, all food is made fresh to order so advance call is advisable!

Instant potatoes -- In my opinion, no way are these fresh mashed potatoes. If you don't believe me, buy a instant mix from the supermarket and do a taste test comparison with a side of real mashed potatoes on the side. Gravy was bland. We thought a chicken place would make good gravy and potatoes, so we got a large container of it. We tossed what we couldn't finish.

Sweet and sour sauce, orange liquid too thin and tasted chemical. The bright orange color should have scared me off. Ribs were dry and old, my husband didn't want to finish it. 10 piece dark meat -- OK, this WAS super good. I can tell chicken must be their specialty and highlight of the establishment. The chicken is so good and juicy and fresh -- I took a bite and chicken juices literally flew out -- it's a shame the sides aren't better.

It would be an epic meal if that were the case. Also, these weren't heavily fried. A little bit of crunch of the skin when you're biting into it, but not excessively breaded and deep fried. When you place an online order you have some options for your chicken: If you want to be healthier, they seem to promote that. Fried / Fried Skinless Roasted / Roasted Skinless BBQ / BBQ Skinless Nuggets and mac and cheese were generic -- seemed like were frozen packs and simply reheated.

I sort of expected this though, so it's not a huge deal. Friendly delivery guy with accurate delivery estimate. Don't love the $2 delivery fee even after we spent $55 Would come back if I was craving chicken. Love that they offer online ordering as it makes it more convenient. And having the option to choose all dark meat is great, as those are the tastiest parts!

My mother-in-law wanted ribs for her birthday and asked us to just get them from Chicken Galore. I was against the idea because their chicken is horrible. Well, the ribs are worse. They were drenched in a sauce but the sauce was odd. I can't quite place my finger on it. Maybe because it seemed to be less of a traditional BBQ sauce and more of a really horrible attempt at an Asian rib sauce.

I dont know. It was just.interesting. The ribs were pretty skimpy on meat but they were at least cooked okay. Not too overcooked but still overcooked. Thankfully my wife's family has stopped going here for chicken, now I just have to get them to never go here again for ribs. This is one of those places that is living off of decade old hype. This place is usually described as. "When i was a kid this place was awesome!" Whatever changes they've made are definitely for the worse, I cant imagine them ever having been good. Thankfully I'm not the one who paid for the meal or i'd be mad I wasted my money.

Updated Review 8/14/2016 After posting my experience the owners reached out to me and offered me a credit on my meal. It says a lot when owners care enough to connect directly to their customers and make sure they are pleased with their service.

Been coming here since I was kid and will continue to when I'm craving fried chicken. Just a note: there really isn't breading on the chicken, I believe it's just the skin that is deep fried. Which to me enhances the chicken flavor, it's suppose to be dark and crunchy including the white meat. Great staff, tasty food, and a really large menu selection for everyone. Don't come here hungry with the expansive menu though, you will buy those mini tacos, jalapeno poppers, and cheese broccoli bites without blinking! Love this place!

Good Fried chicken! Large menus frighten me, and There's lots of choices on the menu, but why would I order anything other than chicken from a place with "chicken" in the title. Lol. My chicken was freshly fried, unlike big name chicken places that pile their pre-fried chicken in a window. And It was seasoned well. The look of the place was far from fancy, maybe that's why when I was given a list of places to eat in the area, this wasn't on it. I honestly don't remember if there was indoor seating, but The Outdoor seating was decent and is good for a nice day, but not during the rain, or cold winter months.
