Recently held a celebration of life luncheon at the Municipal Golf Club with Lady J Catering. The preparation was worry free and personal requests were easily accommodated. The food was out of this world! I received so many compliments! We had the small bun assorted sandwiches and the buns were so fresh and delicious I also ordered the warm German potato salad (which I highly recommend) and cold cucumber salad, sooo good! To top it off, we had peach kuchen and it tasted just like my grandma's Best quality catering in town and very reasonable pricing.

Loved having our wedding reception at Lady Js. My sister also had her reception here. Travis was amazing to work with and handled my million questions I had for him with ease. They set up the decorating just how I wanted and was so pleased with the prices, especially during a pandemic. The food was outstanding and everything we had was nice and hot and what we wanted.
I loved that I didn't have to do much decorating and happy that this venue didn't cost over 3,000 dollars just to have. Staff was great during the wedding and very helpful. The only negative I would have is one of the security guards was a little over the top with asking me and the groom a bunch of questions we thought he could take care of himself. But I don't blame Lady J's for that. I would recommend this place to anyone!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to have our ceremony, our dinner and dance at. The decor was awesome and the food was amazing. Travis is top notch awesome, so great to work with. He made the planning process so easy and we truly felt no stress leaving it all in his and the staff's hands. I will recommend Lady J's to ANYONE who is looking for a venue for any occasion. I know I've said it a million times already, but Travis. THANK YOU!

Lovely decor. Great lettuce salad and potato salad, but the beef sandwich was dry. I can't have chocolate so didn't eat the cake, but it looked okay. Perhaps 1 more server would have helped, just to keep the coffee urn full and hot plus one gal at our table asked twice for water and never got any. She didn't even have a full glass at her place setting.

My husband and I had our reception here a while ago. The location was great for us, the building was cute and the right size. I liked that the guests could flow in and outside if they wanted because of the nicely manicured lawn. The gentleman who took care of the decorating and coordinating did a wonderful job. The food was also good. However, there were other things I was unhappy about.
To start with, we purchased a tent and it rained the whole day. It wasn't set up, which is understandable, but we never received the approx. $70 we were charged. The only other extra expense we had that night was one bottle of sparkling cider, which cost around $15. That does not add up and we never received any money back. My cake decorator said that when she came in to set up, some of the staff (teenagers) were standing around eating the cake pops that I had brought in for my guests.
When I had ordered the food, I had chosen one specific thing and was waiting for the final draft of the contract to come in for me to sign to finalize everything. The lady I was working with had told me it would take about 2 weeks for the contract to come in. It took at least 3 weeks. Before I received the contract, I was told the price of the food I had chosen had gone up (by a few dollars a plate) and that they would not honor the pricing of what I had previously ordered. (This part is in the contract, however if it had been sent in the time I was told, there wouldn't have been a problem.)The justification of not honoring the price was because the lady who told me the contract would only take 2 weeks to receive my contract was a new employee. Previously, during my visitation, we also discussed a time when decorations could dropped off.
I was told I could bring decorations and things in the day before the wedding. Then, the week of the wedding I was called and informed that I had to bring my things the morning of the wedding because they had a last minute event scheduled. The last thing, I had brought in a cake serving set upon request of the contract. They were silver plated. When they gave me the box of things back, I had a set that wasn't mine. Inside was a pair of cheap set with fake diamond handles. They said those were the only ones they found.
