We're proud of our Healthy California Cuisine. Come and enjoy our freshly baked bagels with whipped cream cheeses, omelettes, scrambles, breakfast bagels, breakfast burritos, Benedicts to name a few; specialty sandwiches, wraps, burgers, homemade soups, crisp salads and tasty pastas. Breakfast, lunch, and beyond.
Sandwiches are served with choice of fries, coleslaw, potato salad, or salad. Substitute soup or fruit cup add $2. Bread Choices include our own fresh focaccia, wheat, sourdough, rye or one of Jack's Famous bagels. Grilled portobella Mushroom, eggplant, red onion, zucchini and roasted red pepper on a bed of spinach topped with goat cheese and our homemade hummus.
We deliver our bagels and cream cheese to customers in Ventura County including Ojai Coffee, Coffee Connection & The Local Cup in Oakview then to Simone's in Ventura and the High Schools & Middle Schools. After stopping at the Red Kettle in Summerland we deliver to Tre Lune and Lucky's in Montecito, then on to all three French Press restaurants in SB & Goleta, both Daily Grind locations on De La Vina, UCSB, Caje & I.V. Drip in Isla Vista, just to name a few!

You can't sit inside, you make an order, wait for a drink and look for a table outside, where they then bring you a package with your order. the menu is too large, it is very difficult to figure out when to come to the cafe for the first time. we ordered two bagels, one was vegan and absolutely not tasty. I also ordered a cappuccino and got just coffee in which they poured a little whipped milk, the taste of coffee was disgusting

It's a busy little spot, which was promising at first, but I was quickly disappointed. I paid $14 for a milpas panini, and was given a soggy torta with some kind of sauce that smelled like dishwater. It came with a side of fruit, which was lovely, until I realized it wasn't kept separate from the hot sandwich, making it all go soft and unpleasant. At least the bagel was somewhat acceptable.

The bagels used to be smaller and tastier but now they're no different than a grocery store bagel that is doughy and lacks flavor. I've tried the blueberry, chocolate chip and sesame The staff however is still very nice, patient, friendly and helpful. Five stars to the staff. Another plus is that they're taking the pandemic seriously. No dining in, orders to go or you can eat outdoors, masks required.
The Montecito bagel sandwich I had was pretty good because of the smoked salmon and tomatoes not because of the bagel. The smoked salmon isn't too smoky or salty. Wouldn't recommend the bagels which is a shame but the rest is good though very expensive for not much.
