Worst BBQ I ever had. I assumed a BBQ smokehouse would serve brisket that was actually smoked. Ordered a full pound of brisket only to find when we got home that it was steamed, completely dried out and flavorless and 40% fat. Why have a smokehouse if you are not smoking meats? Luckily, we also ordered some salmon which was very good. If you're looking for good BBQ stay away.

Pretty darn good place. I lived in Dallas for a few years so I have a bit of perspective. This joint would fit in nicely in a small town in Texas in that the servings are generous and traditional. Dickey's it is not and I mean that in the most positive sense I had the pulled pork sandwich and as you would hope it was minimally dressed so that you can adjust the sauce as you see fit.
The pork was had a good flavor. I also got the baked beans and potatoes salad which were good but of course you don't go to a BBQ joint for sides. All in all a nice local business that delivers a solid product. I recommend giving it a try, it might just be your cup of tea

Best BBQ I've had in at least a decade. The brisket sandwich is extremely flavorful and the meat is perfectly cooked, not tough at all. Sauce has a great sweet tanginess and a little zing. The only (very minor) thing that could be improved is the portion size of the side that comes with a sandwich. It's pretty small, which is fine, just was a bit of a surprise when opening the bag. So spend the extra dollar or so for a bigger side if you really like potato salad etc.

I was so excited to try this restaurant after reading the reviews. Walked to the door and saw that all of the employees were not wearing masks. If a restaurant doesn't take a rapidly spreading virus and local mandates seriously, what other health code violations are happening? My family will not support a business that is helping spread COVID.

Really great food! The only negative I can say is that I wasn't a fan of the side choices, but that's just me being picky, & they were pretty small. I had mac & cheese & was too full from my half sandwich, so I never even tried it. My dad had baked beans & really liked them. The meat in the sandwiches was amazing as was the bbq sauce used. I found it a little off puting that the workers (owners maybe?) didn't wear masks but they weren't next to any customers at that time & I can't remember if the man behind the counter who took our order & money had a mask on at that time or not. Very small dining room but very clean. I will definitely be back!

If you're a fan of REAL BBQ. Stay far away. Bought 1 lb of the brisket and when I opened it up was deeply disappointed. Smelt like it was microwaved, no hint of smoking at all, thin sliced, no bark, looked like roast beef from Arby's. The BBQ sauce smelt and tasted awful. I'd prefer McDonald's BBQ sauce over this. I'd prefer "J And L BBQ" down the road from this place if you're looking for good authentic BBQ.

Ate here for the first time since they moved to their new location. I ordered the half brisket sandwich and two pieces of pepperoni. The sandwich was fantastic. The beans were a little boring, even in their sauce. The pepperoni was nice, not overly salty with a light spice that reminds me of their BBQ sauce. They are way more busy then they were at there previous location.

I ordered 2 BBQ pork sandwiches for lunch with potato salad and Mac and cheese. Food was delicious. Big chunks of fat on the pork, which made eating difficult and messy, at times. Food: 4 Customer service at the store; when I walked in, the man at the counter with the beard looked at me with disdain, as if I was Really bothering him. It was lunch time.
My desire for BBQ was stronger than his will for me to go away, so I stayed. I was really hoping the woman behind the counter would take my order, but no such luck. He grunted something about taking my order and didn't say anything else. As I waited for my food I couldn't believe that "Larry" would treat customers so badly and still be in business all these years. Turns out it wasn't Larry, but that guy sure is making Larry and his legacy look bad. Not going back. Customer service: No stars

If you want comfort food that everyone will love Larry's is a great option! We chose them because it is one of my dad's favorite places and it was excellent! They have several menus to chose from and are definitely budget friendly. We had a spread of pulled pork, smoked chicken, mac and cheese, Caesar salad, cornbread muffins and beans and our guests were in awe! The crew is so friendly and took care of our guests wonderfully on wedding day. Their catering is great and they are also a great place to stop in for a meal!

Larry's Smokehouse is very misleading. Maybe there is a Larry (or there was at one point), but that is the only thing the within the name of the establishment that is correct. Walked in on a Monday afternoon and decided to lets try the smoke pork and the brisket. Got a 3/4# of each. Upon getting it home, I open the package and the pork looked decent, but lacked any color you would expect from a smoke.
The brisket was resembled more of boiled roast beef slices that an college dorm cafeteria would serve. Either way, both meats lacked any sense of smoke flavor (and/or salt. At the very least, season the meat. Perhaps that is why they gave me enough BBQ sauce to drown the meat. Would I eat it again? Probably not. There is an Albertson next door and I am sure their deli has some sort of bbq in the hot case.

Larry's is a bright star in the culinary desert of Cathcart. The Smokehouse is new to the neighborhood, but has been in south Snohomish county at different locations for many years. Its straight to the point menu offers all the expected fare for a BBQ joint, plus smoked salmon. The storefront is modest with only a few indoor seats and no outdoor seating.
The staff was friendly and the to-go service was very prompt. The food earns Larry's a very strong 4 star. I ordered the brisket with beans, coleslaw, and cornbread muffin. It was almost $15 for the dinner. The brisket was generous, the sides were a bit small for the price. The brisket and sauce would 5 star all day; however, it was rather fatty. Larry, don't forget to trim the brisket and cut the pieces a bit thicker. Yes, I highly recommend, I will return.

FOOD TRUCK: This is my favorite food truck. It comes to my work about twice a month and I cant wait. I started off getting the pulled pork sandwich which came with chips for 5 bucks. Can't beat that price anywhere. The meat is always tender, unless you like a lot of sauce, I'd ask for it on the side. Their brisket is also good. I haven't tried the chicken but they have that as well. Then.
I discovered the smoked salmon. Game changer for sure and my go-to always. I literally CRAVE it. For only $10 you get a container of smoked salmon, crispy lettuce, a good ceasar dressing in a container and croutons in a container so you can add to your liking. I find I'm always full by the end of the salad which is hard to do with me. The gentleman running the food truck is so nice and personable.
I really enjoy his friendliness. He's like a long lost friend you get reacquainted with. Overall I have only had the best of experiences here. I look forward to eating at the restaurant in the future.
