Look for the only large, brick warehouse on Pennsylvania Avenue- almost covered with hops! When placing large office orders from our regular menu, we highly recommend ordering 24 hours in advance. Lunch orders of over $200.00 can be delivered outside the Hanover area with a delivery charge added. A 24 hour notice must be given for orders outside of Hanover.

Stopped through here on a road trip from Baltimore to Philly (roundabout way, yes!) and we were not disappointed! John, the bartender, was super welcoming and the beer, cider, wine and food were all excellent. We had sandwiches on fresh baked bread, the feta and artichoke dip to start, and a few different beers, cider, and a great sav blanc wine, surprisingly. The atmosphere is great, the service was great, and the food and drinks are fantastic. Your decision is made - go here!

HOLY BANANAS FOSTER, Batman. Don't skip this one. We were staying in Hanover while visiting the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival and Gettysburg, and found this restaurant here on Google. Met up with a friend here for dinner to give it a shot. We ordered a bowl of the cream of clam soup and three different sandwiches - a tarragon chicken salad sandwich, a duck confit grilled cheese, and a crab grilled cheese.
It was love at first bite. The soup was flavorful and creamy, the sandwiches were big, thick, and exploding with delightful combinations. We swapped bit of sandwiches so we could all eat a little of everything. No one wanted to miss out. We also enjoyed the the beer - specifically the Screaming Peacock smoked porter. The food impressed us so much that instead of looking for a second restaurant in Hanover to try out the next day, we went back for a second serving. Now, I can attest to its consistency.
The soup was just as good, the sandwiches were just as good if not better. And we tried the homemade tiramisu for dessert and I think my tongue exploded from the delightful flavors. Seriously, eat here if you're ever in the area. I'm pondering driving back down just for these victuals.

First, let me say, the food was absolutely amazing! They never disappoint in quality. Fresh homemade bread and fantastic combination of ingredients for their dishes. I will put their quality high above Panera, however the price point is right there if not a tad higher. So plan high quality dishes for a higher price.

Went Here on Valentines day with my Fiance. She had the meatloaf and i had the New York Strip. The meatloaf was sub par to say the least and my steak was barely warm. Not the Type to complain but I most likely wont be going back not worth the money ( a little over 20 bucks for the loaf and a little over 30 for my steak). Server was great but i didnt catch his name.

We went for the reservation only Saturday night Valentines Day specials. The decor in the Bistro was nice. Somewhat upscale for Hanover. More modern decor in a classic space. Spacious seating. She had some wine and I had a whiskey sour, which was excellent. We started with a mushroom leek tartlet which was good, and French onion soup which was great.
Our side salads were served before the meal as well, and were very good as well. One of the best Caesar salads I've had in a while. We both had the ribeye. Both were larger than expected and cooked perfectly (rare and medium rare), and came with a nicely made mushroom risotto and a fantastic cream sauce. They were seasoned nicely as well. Not bland and not a slap in the face with black pepper and salt like some restaurants.
For dessert we got the chocolate creme brulee which was outstanding, and the Pot De Creme which was also delicious, but a little smaller than the other desserts, so I would possibly recommend other desserts if you want to share. Overall I will absolutely be returning for special occasions or nicer date nights. I'll also definitely have to try their lunch. One of my favorite restaurants in Hanover now.

Seldom begin a review discussing service. Ethan, our server, was just terrific. We've been to a good part of the world and this young man was just exemplary: attentive, knowledgeable, pleasant, multi-tasking, just awesome. Now, we stopped for the food, not Ethan. Greeted warmly on entry. Outside dining is really the front porch, very limited and not desirable. Went upstairs to check out seating and were directed away from a high-top for 4 to a small table in a corner for 2 which was not satisfactory. Went back downstairs and Ethan took over.
Nice table by a window for 2. Covid cleaning done. The menu is attached. We ordered lite fare, soup and sandwiches. Leggy Blonde, brewed upstairs, was delicious. Great Dilled Tomato soup. Delicious Turkey Avocado and Swiss and Turkey Stinger sandwiches. Our bill for 2 sandwiches and 2 beers with the soup was $47 before tip. For that, don't understand complaints about prices on Google Reviews, but those were rather older ones.
This is a small venue but it is "fun" because everyone seems engaged and not "distant". We will be coming back to the area for two great antique stores and we will visit Warehouse Gourmet Bistro & Brew Pub. Wonderful to discover this place.
