Not only does the farm indulge Alan's love for growing, canning and our green passion in general, but we feel that it sets us apart from all the competition. ALAN'S Catered Events grew out of our love of cooking and entertaining for friends and family. In 1993, we opened a neighborhood bakery/sandwich shop on the east side of Indianapolis which steadily grew into full service catering.
Our professional experience spirits a "terra to table" approach to good food & good community. While still maintaining a career as a professional theatrical lighting designer, Betsy is most passionate about taking care of all the details & presenting the food "in it's best light."

Alan and Betsy. WOW! Fantastic job this weekend. I can not say enough about how you made our special day absolutely wonderful. Every detail, transporting the China and alcohol for us. The tables were beautiful, the buffet was beautiful and oh the food. Everyone raved about how good the food was and the prime rib was awesome. The professionalism, the wait staff, the service and the guests were happy and everything was simply perfect and magical.
You truly made our wedding and I could have never done this without all the extras you did to complete the wonderful wedding. Thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I highly recommend this catering company! I own Avon Wedding Barn and they are one of my top preferred caterers because they are very professional in how they handle things. Betsy is one of the nicest people you would ever want to work with when planning an event. Alan is a phenomenal cook and uses fresh food from their garden as often as possible. The staff that they bring in to bus the tables are very professional and their table presentations are top notch. You will never be disappointed by Alan's Catered Events!
