As a wedding photographer, I've eaten at literally hundreds of weddings. I'm practically a catering connoisseur at this point. Blue plate NEVER lets me down. Everything I have ever eaten has been flavorful and cooked to perfection. Joe, the owner, is very hands on with his business and pays close attention to detail. I can not recommend Blue Plate enough!

Rebecca was so attentive to all of our needs and changes. Priced well, we had excellent food and service. They really did a great job of managing the food and beverage of my daughter's wedding. Excellent staff. Would definitely hire again.

We do whatever it takes, from onsite cooking to traveling for hours in vans loaded with equipment, food and staff, anywhere in New Mexico. We've rolled sushi in a meadow, roasted pig at a winery, fried crab cakes in an Albuquerque alley (in the dead of winter no less!), and prepared dinner (for hundreds) in a garage. I worked with Blue Plate on a Gala event for almost 200 people. Daniel, our main contact, was incredibly professional and detail-oriented. He walked me through everything, checked in regularly, and took care of details I hadn't even thought of. The food was great, and they worked with us to create vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. They provided great service, and great food, and even brought in a cash bar through the Cooperage for another fee.

It was easy. I highly recommend them. They also catered my brother's wedding a couple of years ago, and pulled off a completely different menu, and did a great job. Top of the line professionals.

I was a guest at a wedding reception, and I was looking forward to the dinner.sounded great.filet/salmon, couscous, salad, veggie. The wedding was very elegant & elaborate, the only flaw was the food and service. The food took a long time to arrive, they were not staffed properly, the service was not bad.there actually was NO service. When the food finally arrived it was cold, the tables were not being completed with their dinner, so some guests were finishing their dinner while guests at the same table were just getting served. It was an absolute disaster, not only won't I ever use them, but I certainly would not refer them to anyone.
