Sir D's Catering

Our wedding was on 9/17/21 and. All I've heard since our wedding was how great the food was! They did a beautiful job setting up. The servers were great, the bar tender was fun, and Katelyn and Brittany were great to work with. I'll recommend them to anyone.

They were supposed to cater my best friends wedding later in this month and Brittany decided she just would stop communicating with them. No reason, the bride, groom and myself all called NUMEROUS times with no answer. The last communication was them changing an item on the hors d'oeuvres, and that was it.nothing since. How can you just stop community with a bride and groom 4-5 weeks before the wedding?!

I would NEVER recommend their services. Terrible business practice. And BTW.since there was no notice that they couldn't or wouldn't cater the event, it has caused UNDO stress on a bride who already has enough to deal with by planning a wedding to now have no one catering the reception. Absolutely awful! Brittany, whoever you are.you're the worst. I hope karma comes back to you tenfold.

Sir D's catered for my companies mid- year picnic and they were fantastic. Kaitlyn, the employee (doing the catering all by herself), went above and beyond to make sure our employees were taken care of. Kaitlin was timely, attentive and made the set up look fun yet professional. The food was fresh, came out warm and tasted great. Many of our employees came up to us after saying how much they enjoyed it. Would recommend Sir D's to anyone for the future!

Talk about fantastic food, awesome servers, and two wonderful bartenders! Sir D's was wonderful and we appreciated all that they did for us for our wedding! Between having wonderful ideas when it came to table set-ups and table serving, to having all our guests raving about how delicious the food was (even the picky eaters), to having bartenders who remembered everyone's orders, we can't speak highly enough about Sir D's. If you are looking for top-notch service, Katelyn and Brittney are the best!

Sir D's Catering was absolutely AMAZING. My (now) husband and I are very picky when it comes to food. We had our wedding with a served dinner style and when I say it couldn't have gone better, I LITERALLY mean it COULD NOT HAVE GONE BETTER. Sir D's did such an amazing job. They checked every box. The food was served hot (super tasty), fast and the presentation was great. I am so happy with their service. Super friendly, wonderful food and great staff. Again, thank you!

Alexia was organized and helpful in our initial meeting and communication regarding a proposal. Calla was very friendly and moved the planning process along nicely. The food tasted good and presented well at the wedding. Unfortunately, several major disappointments left a bad taste in our mouths and we regret having them cater our wedding. Calla disappeared two days before our wedding and we were surprised with Brittney on the day of the wedding without any communication from Sir D's. Hors d'oeuvres were served to us one time without our full selection present while we were taking photographs during cocktail hour.

Our dinners were not packed up as leftovers for our pleasure as agreed upon. Worst of all, was the final invoice disagreement following the wedding. We were charged our initial quoted price and not the amended proposal price. We were charged for 6 vendor meals instead of 4. We were charged for an additional hour of time which was not agreed upon. We were charged for centerpiece and cake/cupcake setup, which was painstakingly done by family and relatives, not the caterer.

I respectfully pointed out the discrepancies line by line in an e-mail. The e-mail was acknowledged, and a check was sent to us. The total difference in amount paid and corrected final invoice was over $1,000. The check we received was for just over $500. I e-mailed. I called. Eventually, I received my only response from the owner, Don Noss, that he personally reviewed the necessary information and could explain the additional charges at my convenience.

I called the number provided and left multiple voicemails. We followed up with an out-of-the-way in-person visit only to be refused any time to discuss the disputed amounts. Our only remedy that remained was civil court. which we declined to pursue and incurred the loss of over $500. Save yourself the hassle and find another caterer.

Sir D's was a delight to work with. Communication was clear, timely, and accurate. Their website contained all of the information necessary for me to make my preliminary plans and budget, and working with them on the phone and via e-mail made it easy to finalize plans and schedule my event, an adult birthday picnic. On the day of the event, they arrived when agreed to. Katelyn did a great job setting up everything.

It looked great. Guests were delighted with the food. When the event was over, Sir D's (Katelyn) arrived when promised and took away all of their stuff. It was a pleasure doing business with them. I would use them again and recommend them.

Sir D's did an amazing job catering our outdoor wedding this past June. They were very easy to work with and very accommodating, the food was really delicious and presented well (all of our guests commented on how good the food was), and they were very professional. Cocktail hour, bar tending, and the seated dinner all went seamlessly. Brittney was particularly awesome with helping us plan everything. Would highly recommend them for any of your catering needs!

Sir D's was one of the best choices we made during our wedding planning process! We worked with Brittney and the rest of the Sir D's team on planning our large wedding. We chose the stations package and could not have been happier! The Sir D's staff was professional from start to finish. We asked for a few menu upgrades and had several guests with dietary restrictions.

Sir D's was able to accommodate everyone! Our guests could not stop raving about the delicious food (which is the reason we did not have many leftovers at the end :). Brittney assisted us with all of the questions we had and helped us select the linens, plates, and menu. Sir D's staff came to the venue to meet with us during our final walk-through to ensure that everything was as planned. Thank you so much!

I am a venue owner and have always enjoyed working with Sir D's here. They are professional, accommodating and their food is delicious and presented well. Their staff has always been on top of the each event and they have always left our place spotless. Thanks Sir D's! We hope to work with you all lots in the coming years! Sir D's was hands down the best choice we made in the wedding planning process. We worked with Brittney and the communication was excellent! She worked around our schedules to plan meetings and tastings, and answered my countless emails promptly. Leading up to the day of, she put us at ease and had all of the answers to every single question we had!

On the day of, we showed up, and everything was even better than we could have imagined. The food was INCREDIBLE and the guests won't stop talking about it! Everyone went up for seconds. We chose the Beef Bourguignon and Mediterranean Chicken as our main entrees from the long list of options they had. The bartender, Andy, was awesome and kept all of the guests happy, and made the two of us feel like celebrities when we would go to the bar, as he already knew what we wanted!

The staff day of also juggled everything else while personally catering to us - bringing us appetizers and serving our meals to us even though we had chosen a buffet! At the end of the night, as guests trickled out and headed off to bars, the staff quickly cleaned up and helped my parents consolidate all of our centerpieces, wrapping up the wedding seamlessly. We could not have chosen a better caterer!

Company picnic used this place. Dry burgers and shriveled up hot dogs. Not enough cookies, ran out of drinks. Just not very good. Everyone seemed to be on same page. Not good.

Sir D's cater s our wedding and it was absolutely amazing! We wanted something different for our outdoor wedding, so we chose their clambake option.fabulous! We also had passed scallops, Cuban sliders, veggie & cheese displays and these awesome potato latkas with herbed cheese, yummy! The staff was always friendly and went above and beyond for both our catering, bar tending & cake service. Thank you Sir D's for making our wedding so special!

I cannot begin to describe how disappointed I was with Sir D's catering of my wedding. The first meeting and food tasting was excellent, the employees and owner know how to sell their company. Nothing that I was promised during my initial meeting or tasting was true on the day of my wedding. Here is an overview of events at my wedding: Staff arrived behind schedule -nothing set up - tables not set up, bar - garnish not cut, glasses not out, liquor not set out, 25 minutes prior to guests coming into reception. Paid an upgrade to have glassware for the night.

We drank out of plasticware the entire night. Garnishes that were provided for signature cocktails were not provided with the cocktail Appetizers COLD Dinner COLD and DRY - much of the food was disgarded and not eaten Servers were throwing up in the bathroom Desserts for guests were put out before the cake cutting I called the owner to discuss these issues.

He was apologetic. He told me he would review my contract and get back in touch with me. That was over a month and a half ago and I still have not heard back from him. I feel like there was a blame game going on about why so many things went wrong. I paid for a service, an expensive service, and I feel, because of the reasons listed above, that the service provided did not reflect the amount paid.

The venue where our wedding was held will not allow this caterer to do any more events there, due to being difficult to work with. The catering person who attended a pre-event meeting was not at the event on the day of. The lack of continuity may have lead to miscommunications and confusion which resulted in a very disappointing display by the caterer.

This company recently catered our son's wedding. The food was great, they were there when promised and helped to make the day run smoothly. We especially appreciated the bartender, who was very busy but served our guests with personal attention.

Sir D's were incredibly accommodating while we were planning our wedding. They were really easy to work with, and the food we tasted was amazing. The day of the wedding was a completely different story. I realize that cooking for a huge group is different than cooking for two people, but the food that was served was nothing like the food we tasted.

It was not at all worth the five figures we dropped. When we contacted them after the wedding we were met with an incredibly petty reply. We went with Sir D's because the food at the tasting was excellent. We should have gone with a less expensive place serving lesser quality food, because that's what we got in the end.

BEWARE BRIDES! I would give them no stars id i could. I thought this caterer was going to be it for me. The price seemed right and the coordinator was nice. The venue requires caterers not on their approved list to submit a brief application and proof of insurance. "No problem!" they said "we submitted it" they said. Well came to find out that not only did they not submit the necessary information to our venue, but Sir D's is well aware they are banned from the venue due to a previous incident!

When I first contacted them they could have made up any excuse as to why they don't go to my venue and I would have simply moved on. Instead, they decided to lie to me on multiple occasions, string me along for months, and waste precious time that I should have been using to find a caterer that could actually serve at my venue. Maybe you won't have any problems but I certainly would take a company's lack of professionalism and ethics into consideration when you are planning to spend thousands of dollars on one of the most memorable days of your life.
