I went to the landmark center for a convention and I just loved it. It was more than I could have imagined. I love that the building was built such a long time ago, and that it was maintained so beautifully. The employees were working very hard and efficiently. A great place for a formal event. I plan on going there every year.

Hello we paid to this venue 7,200 to host a event at the venue for 9/17/21 but Unfortunately we can not go through with the event. We are canceling with enough time. We asked the owner to refund us back the amount we paid but he is being rude and disrespectful and will not honor us a refund and wants us to forcefully hold the event or give us credit for a future event. We do not want to do business with this company based on the owner how he treated us. He uses Voulger language towards his customers

Had our wedding on the rooftop. Venue is gorgeous! Wait staff and food were great! Management however is a NIGHTMARE! We were promised a room by Johnny for our ceremony downstairs. Come to find out 1 week before the wedding that the room has been long term rented to a ballet company. No communication of such. Johnny is a classic snake oil salesman. Says what you want to hear, but has NO intention of following thorough unless it is the highest money maker.
It was almost impossible to get in contact with management. Elevator was broken until morning of ceremony. We had planned to carry a few guests the six flights so they could attend. Had to fight tooth and nail for a refund on payment for original room promised by Johnny. Do not waste your time here, you will end up pulling out your own hair.

Been working in the event field in the Tacoma area for over a decade and working with the Landmark Catering & Convention Center was by far the worst experience ever. The management staff is unskilled and unprofessional. The service staff does not care to provide quality service. They are overpriced and horrific to work with. The venue is tired and needs an overhaul. Tacoma has SO many fabulous venue options - this is not one of them.

The place is historical and pretty. But don't let the price of the room fool you. You will spend a pretty penny. The food was outstanding and the workers who helped out during the reception wrre great, friendly, helpful and knew what they were doing. The place is nice, but like I said before, it's gonna cost several thousand dollars, more or little less. The office staff or management doesn't help much, you have to keep on them, but they were nice too. Just be aware of what you really want to spend.
