We are a family business with over 30 years of experience in making people happy by serving them delicious, recognizable food. What started out as a small deli has turned into the largest off-premise catering company in the Memphis Area. We pride ourselves in the fun and close family atmosphere where we take particular interest in the successful execution of your wedding or event.
Your Wedding should be the perfect gathering to share your special moments with family and friends - and it should be hassle-free for you. We have been the chosen wedding caterer in Memphis for hundreds of brides and their families and work to ensure that each couple receives quality, value, and a little TLC when it is surely needed.
Payments may be made at any interval but must be paid in full 10 days prior to the event date. Additional serving/equipment/rental fees will be due and payable the day of the event and may be placed on a major credit card for your convenience. We must receive a guaranteed guest count 10 days prior to the event, with additions only, possible up to 72 hours before the event at Caterer's discretion.
You purchase the alcohol and deliver it (or have it delivered) to Draper's the week of your event. We will label, store and transport the alcohol to your event, ice it down, set up the bars, and replenish as necessary. This is a one-way trip.customer is responsible for transport of leftover alcohol after the event.

Draper's did the most amazing job catering my daughter's wedding. The food was exquisite. So many guests told me it was the best food they've ever eaten at a wedding. The quality was superb, everything was served at the perfect temperature, the portions were just right, and the presentation was lovely. At the wedding, Mary was an absolute godsend. She arranged everything beautifully, advised us on other parts of the setup, and by the end of the night, she felt like family. They are just the best!

WOW! If you are having an event in Memphis and need catering, look no further than Draper's Catering of Memphis. It all began with a very nice "tasting", which was actually a beautiful meal with several different food item options from which to choose. Matt Draper was amazing to work with, and answered any and all questions we threw at him. He also assisted us in planning the meal and food service. Matt went above and beyond the call of duty!
We had a seated dinner for 375 people. Our guests were met by Draper's friendly, professional staff with several tasty appetizers as they entered the venue. Our full course dinner was served quietly and discreetly, with all 375 guests being served flawlessly in about 20 minutes. It was actually amazing how efficiently the meals were delivered. The food was perfectly prepared, and tasted amazingly good.
The beef, potatoes and vegetables were cooked and seasoned to perfection, and served at a perfect temperature. I was stunned at how good the meal tasted. A banquet sized dinner which matched or exceeded a meal at a fine steak house! After the meal, all of the tables were cleared. Again, the staff was amazingly quick, quiet and discreet during this process.
It is difficult to put into words how wonderful the service was.it was almost magical as the delicious food appeared and then the used plates disappeared. We were 100% satisfied with every aspect of our experience with Draper's Catering. Thank you again Matt, and please extend our most sincere thanks to your entire staff! Keith Currie

I can't say enough good things about Draper's Catering. They made every aspect of planning with them a breeze. I went into my wedding day feeling confident that everything was taken care of. Our servers were lovely, and incredibly thoughtful. The food was delicious and looked gorgeous on the table. My guests were wowed by the displays and the service. Draper's took excellent care of us and I'm delighted with everything they did!

We were so impressed with Draper's for our wedding this past August! The food was unbelievable. I was blown away by the presentation at the wedding! I loved the variety of food options they offered as well as their own unique twist on the menu. Draper's was easy to work with, thoughtful, and made you feel at ease with every food and drink decision. I would absolutely recommend using Draper's!

So thankful we went with Drapers and their amazing team! They were so patient with us and worked with our budget as we tried to figure out also the amount of food we would need for our daughters wedding due to the COVID situation. Everyone kept telling us at the reception how good the food was and asking us for their name. The staff was so nice and fun to work with and even came out and danced with us. Amy did an amazing job on the cake and cupcakes! Loved the rustic pieces they used just like my daughter wanted. Please support local and this awesome family friendly business!

We had Draper's cater our daughter's after wedding brunch at our home. The staff was fantastic and hilarious. So helpful with service and cleaning up. They did everything and more. But the food was. Wow. Everything we could hope for. All the leftovers were boxed up and ready for us to enjoy the next day. We want to thank Draper's again and cannot recommend them enough

My husband and I hired Drapers to do the catering for our wedding, and we were so happy with them. We met early in the planning stages with them, and tried to get tastings and meetings with other caterers in the area, but the local competition just didn't compare, at least not for a wedding. We had trouble with other local caterers having little to no flexibility when scheduling tastings, and often the menus were confusing or not very appealing. Drapers was so easy to work with!
They were very easy to schedule meetings with around our busy work schedules, and they really spent a lot of time answering all of our questions. Also, we made a few adjustments throughout the process, and they were quick to adjust and readjust according to our budget. Additionally, they were very cool about letting us provide our alcohol on our own and even helped with the cocktail recipes we chose.
On the big day, the food was wonderful. We had some basics, like veggies, fruit, & cheese, and they made the display look like a work of art. For the main dishes, we had a grilled cheese station as well as a few other random things that appealed to us, and our guests RAVED about the food. Wonderful food and wonderful people to work with. I would absolutely recommend them again and again.

I have been lucky enough to attend several parties catered by Drapers. The food is excellent. When have you been to a party where the caterers as as warm and welcoming as the host? If you've been to such a party, there's a strong chance Draper's was there! I admit to not understanding how the unsuccessful comedy of MaryEllen B's husband equals a bad review for Draper's. If you can't take it you shouldn't dish it out. particularly to a caterer!

We have had our after Thanksgiving holiday dinner catered by Drapers for the late 3 years and will certainly continue. Our guests rave about the quality and flavor and there are always great leftovers. They take great care in getting everything right from the rolls to the deserts. Great selection and a wide variety of entrees and sides. The chocolate cake is to die for and I love the banana pudding. We appreciate the personal touch and their commitment to making sure everything is perfect.

I'm sure, based on other reviews, Drapers is a very good catering company. I just want to relate a bad experience with one of their employees. While entering The Kroc Center, we saw their truck parked in front. Being the joker that he is, my husband commented on the fancy script lettering on the truck looking a bit like it says "diapers". The Drapers employee heard this and corrected him by saying "Most people can read!" We thought that was rude and offensive behavior for a representative of such a high profile company. Shame!

I 'stumbled' into a promotional event for Bridal events at Marriott Courtyard and related properties in downtown Memphis and what a surprise to discover how great this caterer is! The item that sticks in my memory (and on my hips) is the decadent 4 (maybe 6?) layer cake that the youngest Draper prepared. It had everything from chcolate mousse to caramel to cheesecake and my hips still remember!
I dont know if brides in the south love rich -but in southern Califorinia this cake would be outlawed( Aa are smoker, people with one pound extra, etcetc). HOWEVER, Connor Draper who is all of l8 really did an amazing job-and the story of how his parents got into the business is really fascinating- no time. But the did elope on the east coast many years ago and came to Memphis in a totally different profession-but the Memphinians are lucky!
