The Festive Kitchen is one of Dallas' premier caterers for corporate and private events, and "take home catering". What started out as a single person baking brownies for a hamburger bistro has blossomed into a one of a kind company that operates multiple divisions including take home, food manufacturing, catering, and gourmet food shops. With an eye for creativity and a taste concept defined as "recognizable gourmet", we are phenomenal food, with fanatical service. Our Festive Food includes: specialty food manufacturing, food shops, e-commerce, and catering.

Lauren from Festive Kitchen personally dropped by my neighboring shop and gave me a free sample of the most delicious blueberry and white chocolate cookie I've ever had! It was a very kind gesture. I haven't been to the location yet but the team seems very friendly and I highly recommend their amazing cookies!

This review is based on their chocolate chip cookies only (tho I intend to try some of their takeout entrees before too long). They are, simply, as good as the best we've ever had. This includes Neiman Marcus' legendary chocolate chip cookie. Even my wife, who's none too partial to sweets, loves 'em. And at about $.80 each (unbaked), they're a steal. Thick, the right amount of chew, and loaded with chocolate.

I would rate this place higher if I could! Just an absolute gem! I travel full time for work and just stumbled upon this place, but could not be happier I did. This is the perfect place for a home cooked/ fresh style meal for lunch or dinner. The woman that was working the register found out it was my first time and was so sweet and willing to help me out.
Good amount of vegetarian options. I got a pimento cheese sandwich and macaroni salad, both taste great an so fresh. Literally one of the best quick grab places I have ever stumbled upon!

The Festive Kitchen did a great job at a friend's funeral service. They apparently cater many of the funerals at the Ted Dickey Funeral Homes in the Plano area. The server, Beth, did a great job of serving and keeping empty plates and glasses removed. By all means, try the bacon-wrapped apricot bites! They are wonderfully delicious! The mini-tacos and sandwiches were delicious, too.
The lemon squares and white chocolate chip cookies are so good they disappear fast! I'm told that they sell the cookie dough for the cookies in their stores so you can enjoy them at home.

3 stars are being given because their "summer hours" aren't posted online and I drove 45 minutes to pick up dinner and cookies for a dinner party we were having only to find out that they were closed. I arrived at 5:15 PM on Friday afternoon and left work early to be sure I arrived well before 6 PM, which was the closing time posted online. Love the food here, just not their "summer hours."

Our office has catered from the Festive Kitchen numerous times and everything has been delicious. As far as I know, they are good with showing up on time with the food. They also use these cute wood trays to transport and serve on. For our recent holiday party, we used the Festive Kitchen and everyone seemed happy with it!

This place is a well known secret and has two locations. I first tried their queso and cookies at a football party and was blown away. The hostess went on and on about Festive Kitchen, so I had to check them out. I picked up some of their frozen cookies and they are already individually packaged and so easy to plop in the oven. Great find to add some additional dishes when entertaining.

I have not tried their food, but from a business operation perspective, they aren't great. I went to the Richardson location to purchase some in-stock items during their normal business hours. The door was locked. People were inside working, but no one attempted to open the door, they just ignored me. So I called from my cell and someone answered the phone.
I asked if the store would be open again, "No we are closed for the rest of the day. We will be open tomorrow." That's all she said with no further explanation. That's fine, but this is one customer who won't drive out of my way again just for their convenience. So my advice, call them first before going there!

Debra was easy to work with over the phone. I asked her opinion on what would be nice, easy finger foods for a baby shower. She recommended chicken salad tea sandwiches, zingers, pups in a thong and pumpkin bread. Everything looked pretty and was finger food but really the taste did not rock anyones boat. Also, it was very expensive for the amount of food that we received. I may just make all of these things myself next time at one third of the price and it will look just as nice and perhaps taste better.

This is one of the best kept secrets in Dallas! I went to a party a few years ago and loved the food. It was some of the best tasting food I've had. The food tasted so fresh and homemade, I thought the host made the food herself. Several months later, I was throwing my own party and asked her for some recipes / tips. She finally told me her secret -- she got all her food from Festive Kitchen.
This is not a restaurant -- it's a store that sells prepared and packaged foods, kind of like MyFitFoods. All you do is take the food home, warm it, serve it, and enjoy. They usually have samples of most items on their menu to try. Make sure you put your orders in weeks before any major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.); they have very little available the day before. So, now you know where to get your food for your next party. Just don't tell your guests where you got it!;) *They also cater
