This place is closed. Not sure if it's a permanent closure. I looked up a breakfast diner on Yelp and it showed them open until 9:30am. I rolled in at 8:30am and they closed. Two other local folk also indicated that they had been closed.

Popped in today to revisit an old favorite - the beef stew in a sourdough breadbowl. only to find out that they aren't really the same restaurant. Though the old menu is still up on the web, nothing is the same.

What more can be said about this breakfast/lunch grill that has not already been said?! This place is 5 stars in my eyes. My kind of place! It's small and quaint but has very delicious food and quaint deli sitting area at the counter as well as deli style table and chairs; also has nice eating area just outside of the main entrance. Owned by a nice Mexican Lady with the help of her friends to keep the place top notch!

If you're ever in the downtown Tulsa area, give it a try! You won't be disappointed! Right next to the Marriott Courtyard hotel and about a 10 minute walk from Hampton Inn.

My wife and I stopped by for a late breakfast and we will definitely be back next time we're in Tulsa. The staff was wonderful, the food was fantastic and everything homemade. The waitress even made fresh salsa right in front of us. Highly recommend.

It's gone extremely down hill since the new owners took over. The place looks nicer but the food is horrible. I honestly feel like I got scammed. After paying 9.75 for a chicken tender basket, I was still hungry because they give you less than 1 chicken breast worth of chicken that has all of the breading falling off and soggy fries that are 30% salt. I will not be back and I recommend every else stay away as well. They are trying to piggyback off the success from the last owners.

This has to be one of those unicorn moments when trying a new place I knew nothing about prior to walking in and just doing a 180 on opinion after eating the food. My wife said she wanted to try it for a Saturday brunch. She said downtown and mentioned the name so I thought we were in for a potentially expensive treat. Man was I disappointed when we walked in the place really didn't look like much, was pretty dead, and was more like a cafeteria feel than a diner.

Just really strange. The menu was, imo, a disaster. They had it all, man! Meatloaf, tacos, pancakes, burritos, pork chops, chicken fried chicken (I think), burgers, friggin tabouli! I mean, how can you execute a menu that size with like, no lie, 20-30 "specials" chalkboarded all over the place. I walked in wanting lunch, ordered breakfast, and thought I ordered dinner.

Long story short the food was delicious! I was absolutely expecting a dumpster fire by all appearances but got a beautifully executed chorizo burrito smothered in house-made salsa verde. The side potatoes were covered with fried onion and jalapeno (so good. A plate of that would've been a homerun alone), and the kids pancakes were great. Bacon cooked perfectly, sausage patties were great, and my wife's omelette was delicious.

We asked for hot sauce and they had it in abundance. Specifically, a really nice pair of house made salsas that were shockingly good with one being legit hot (not white personal "hot" lol). Awesome. I honestly think I found my new breakfast place downtown tulsa. I'm really quite pleased my wife brought me here. I'll be back! Plus, dude beside us grabbed a burger and it looked on!

Food was very delicious, hospitality was exceptional! Felt like being in a relative or friend's warm comfy kitchen. Very warm and great people that work at Atlas Grill!

I had the spanish omelette and it was great. The place has an old style diner look and feel to it. Not the type where it was ok intentionally done to be trendy, but the type that if it weren't for the flat screen tv on the wall you'd think you'd stepped back in time. I'll definitely be back.

I ear here regularly. Love their food. Exceptional service so you can get in, eat and back to work. Try the black bean burger. Amazing and made in house.

I take the tunnels sometimes when the weather is wonky. Love the lunch options here. Today I am having The Frisco - a tuna steak sandwich with tomato basil mayo and a side of Pesto Pasta. It doesn't matter what you get, the food is always great, and an affordable price to boot!

Usually come here for Sunday brunch. Great atmosphere inside the first floor of the Atlas Life Building. You can sit at the counter or grab a table inside or in the open hall. Servers are always welcoming and the food is always home cooked, coffee is always topped off, and a place where kids can be kids. Kids order the pesto pasta, with a side of toast, and I'll get the breakfast sandwich with basil mayo.

Atlas is one of my favorites in downtown. I came here for quality and quantity. I recently came here for the third time. The food had not let me down, not even once.

Delish and easy to order! I usually call in and pick it up, but have dined in for breakfast and lunch on several occasions. The menu isn't huge to where you get lost, but each item is amazingly prepared. They have a special everyday and I highly suggest the chicken fried steak day! My go to for breakfast is the breakfast sandwich on an English muffin with a side of potatoes (they have fried onions AND fried jalapenos mixed in as well as seasoned to perfection!) Bethany is the sweetest person ever and definitely ensures that every patron is important and welcome. I will definitely continue to frequent here!

Service was not great. I figured it would be a great place for lunch since it was at the hotel. wrong. It was poor quality food, priced on the high side for a cafe and just not pleasant people. Try the deli instead.

The only drawback, it's so small! There is expanded seating in the hall & it is always fantastic. The homefries are delish, the environment is divine & the service is fast & friendly. Perfect hangover cure. Also great for lunch anytime!

I've been here for lunch a few times but this time I went to brunch with my mom and my fiance. My mom ordered pancakes and she enjoyed them and I ordered an omelet. It was very good. It had goat cheese, veggies, and bacon. My fiance ordered a burger and sweet potato fries. He didn't say anything to me but since he left part of it on the plate (which he never does lol) I don't think he was very impressed.

I love this place and I love that it is in one of the most gorgeous buildings in Tulsa. The art deco in the lobby is amazing. My only complaint was that they don't have mimosas anymore for brunch. But check it out!

Overall berry good. I recommend the pesto pasta side item. My grilled tuna sandwich was a bit overdone. Sauces were very good.

Ok, I have a confession. I'm very tough on breakfast joints as I happen to be the best breakfast cook in Tulsa OK (per my 4 offspring). I took my #4 here recently and had to say the only exciting part of the trip was the ambience in the historical building that housed the Atlas. Truth be told, eggs, toast, bacon and potatoes are the basics of any good breakfast fare, but I longed to be back in my South Tulsa kitchen, preparing it the way momma taught me.

Oh well, it's tough to get a 4 or 5 star on the American staple.eggs, meat, potatoes and catbs but for this one, I think I'll pass and go home and make some crepes with vermont maple syrup. If you desire "diner" fare, then this should be your go-to.

This is a cool little spot in a very historical location in downtown Tulsa. The art deco surroundings in and out are enough to come check this inside corner spot out. It really is a step into history! So, the restaurant has tables that are outside of the main dining area and out in the main hallway if you will. You may have to wade through some of them to find a greeter or member of the wait staff to seat you. Don't let this stop you from trying it out!

In both of my visits so far the staff have been very friendly and attentive. The location is kept clean and tidy and you get an overall homey feeling while dining. I've only had breakfast here so I'll speak to that. YUMMERZ! I for one enjoy the breaded and friend jalapenos and onions that come on the home fries (no hashbrowns here!). The omelettes are super yummy and delicious (I am partial to the chorizo omelette)! The biscuits and gravy are pretty legit as well! So if you are looking something funky and cool and check out in downtown I'd certainly say give it a shot!

In the historic Atlas Life building and the Marriott hotel in downtown Tulsa is a great Art Deco retro diner known as the Atlas Grill. Sit at the bar and order breakfast before or after Mass on Sunday. They have a 1/2/3 egg breakfast with applewood smoked bacon or sausage and your choice of toast. Parking can be a little tricky.

This had been on my "To Try" list because of all the Yelp reviews, so I eventually made it out for brunch. Got the Denver omelette with the side of morning potatoes and split the biscuits and gravy with my sister. The food was good, but not amazing or mindblowing. I had gotten a hot water and ended up being charged for a coffee (so look at your receipt!). Based on food, this place is 3 stars. Sit underneath the amazing art deco ceiling and you'll understand why I gave this place the extra star.

Very cool location inside the Atlas Life building. It was quiet when we were there on the weekend. The place is very clean and has an old school look to it. Good, friendly service and excellent sandwiches. Next visit to Tulsa we will return to this place!

I honestly learned about the Atlas Grill from my Yelp buddy Trina J. who lives in Chicago, but visits Tulsa on business. On one of the few days when I didn't need a dog-sled team to get from the hotel to my client's offices, I took a little stroll in search of a lunchtime eatery. Based upon Trina's recommendations I followed my trusty Yelp app towards the Atlas Grill.

The restaurant is located inside of the great Art Deco-style Atlas Life building, and it's worth a few moments to wander around and appreciate the architecture. The restaurant is on the ground floor of the building, down the corridor towards the statue of Atlas balancing the world on his shoulders. Be sure to look up at the ceiling to get a real appreciation for the Art Deco ceiling tiles.

The Grill was originally a coffee shop, and they've expanded the place to give it more of a diner feel. The Atlas Grill is open for breakfast from 7 - 9:30am Monday through Friday, and then they re-open from 11am - 2pm for lunch. Weekend hours are 9am - 2pm Saturday & Sunday. I was there for lunch, and so I ordered The Atlas burger which was 1/3 lb.of fresh ground beef which was grilled and served with Dijon mustard and fried onions.

I stuck to an order of fries for my side, but I could have substituted fresh fruit, Cole slaw, cottage cheese, potato salad, sweet potato fries, side salad or pasta salad for an upcharge. The burger was delicious, and I certainly appreciated the 1920s ambiance of this little restaurant. If you're in the downtown Tulsa area then pop over to the Atlas Grill for a great lunch.

I frequent their brunch very often, in fact some of the staff even knows me by name. The first thing I would say is that it's located in Downtown Tulsa in the Atlas Life building which is an excellent display of the Art Deco from the 1920's. You walk through the main front entrance, it's marked for the hotel. You walk through the entry way with one of the most beautiful ceilings.

The restaurant is located in the very back, on your right. You can sit anywhere you'd like- inside the restaurant or underneath the beautiful ceiling. My favorite thing on the menu is simple, their breakfast potatoes. The are cooked with fried onions and jalapenos which has the most amazing flavor. They are incredibly accommodating to fill your needs.

The service is kind and always quick to help. I enjoy the breakfast burrito or the breakfast sandwich. It's a wonderful neighborhood diner that you have to look for. Give it a shot!

Okay people I'm not a veggie burger kind of girl, but the black bean burger from Atlas is out of this world. I pair it with fruit, but the sweet potato fries are also killer. Get the chipotle mayo on the side, this is only because you get more and it's heavenly. I crave this burger. You can go here for a quick lunch. You order at the counter then wait for your food. It's quick and yummy. There is something for everyone here. You can also get to Atlas through the tunnels which is a great feature on rainy days.

The line to get in is always long, so that gives one idea of how good this place is. We went for lunch on a Wednesday and left a little earlier than usual to try to beat the line. Nope. Didn't work. It wasn't as bad as it could have been but it was still out to the door. The menu is pretty simple, mostly sandwiches and burgers. They all come with the same spicy pickle as the deli in the same building.

You also get a side of chips, but they're tortilla chips. Without salsa, that seems odd to me. I had one. And one bite of the pickle. The burger was great. I had the Atlas Burger with American cheese. Pretty simple but that's what I like. They have the obligatory sweet and non-sweet tea but their sweet tea is not sweetened with sugar. I could taste the artificial sweetener in it.

I did not care for that at all. They should tell you what they're using and not just serve it. I dumped it out and had a Dr. Pepper. All-in-all, a good place. Nothing great but not bad.

Yes! Everything, yes. Best bacon I've eaten outside of my own home. Berries so fresh. French toast was lightly crispy and tender and buttery. Wait staff was super helpful in suggesting winners and very pleasant. The location makes it feel like you've found the best kept secret in town. Even the coffee was standout.

The Atlas Grill (okay NEW Atlas Grill) is located at the back of the lobby of the Atlas Life Building in the Deco District of downtown Tulsa. The building has recently been transformed into a trendy Marriott Courtyard hotel, where we stayed, however their lobby is one floor up. The main floor is pretty much all original. The restaurant appears to cater primarily to the lunch crowd, however they do have a well-rounded breakfast menu.

The layout is a tiny main counter area with a few bar seats, opening into a larger dining area where they took over one of the adjacent shops, then numerous tables spread out at the rear of the lobby and a roomful of tables in the Tulsa Press Club across the hall. So what I'm saying is there's plenty of seating area, and they need it because they do a booming business.

The two primary people who seem to be possibly the owners are best described as quirky, which is okay. They have some signs on the walls that are probably meant to be funny but could come off a bit heavy-handed. They're certainly efficient and they flitter from table to table and back into the kitchen. As would be expected they seem to know a lot of the customers quite well, so you don't have that cold distant feeling you get in most hotel coffee shops.

And this isn't actually quite a hotel coffee shop although it's the only one in the hotel's building. Get it? The food was good. We chose to eat light because we intended to graze at the Mayfest street festival going on all around us. It was also cheap, especially considering it was located in a hotel building downtown. The Atlas Grill is a good choice for breakfast, lunch and people watching and is walking distance to anywhere downtown. Overall a good combination.

Visiting Tulsa on the weekend and hardly anything was open for food on a Sunday. Thank goodness for YELP, I found this place and walked over (only about 15 minutes from my hotel; made for a nice outing). It's located in a historic building (use the hotel entrance-- I think it was Courtyard Marriott or something similar) and it looked like a wee little space but they are so friendly, it seems cozy rather than cramped. Also, I really appreciate the friendly atmosphere when I'm traveling/dining alone--it makes the trip so much nicer!

I had the breakfast burrito with sausage and salsa verde. I wasn't really expecting anything that great, but I was surprised! Everything was flavorful, the wrap was some kind of herbed tortilla, the salsa verde was not super spicy but had a really great flavor, and it was packed with eggs and potatoes. I really enjoyed it and I wish more places had breakfast burritos with so much flavor! Giant breakfast and endless coffee (they even gave me a to-go cup) for under $10; perfect brunch!

I am surprised the restaurant has so few reviews. I guess Tulsans like to keep the jewels in the city a secret to the masses. Atlas is a great Tulsa lunch spot. Everything is fresh and they even offer a few unique creations. I have eaten here a couple times when in the area on business. It is housed in such a cool building and seating is offered both inside the restaurant and there are high tops right outside its doors.

If you are planning to try this spot for lunch, you should call in your order or get there early. The sandwiches are tasty and their Atlas burger is pretty good too. The portions are big enough to fill you up without having you so full you need a post lunch nap.
